So I really hesitated in writing this review because I thought maybe they fell on hard times. Then when I remembered the condition of the restaurant, the service and the attitude of the staff, not necessarily bad, maybe more indifferent rather than apologetic, I felt the need to write because they are not a 4.8 restaurant.I came here because I love Soul Food. What I saw was a dirty restaurant that was out of stock of everything. I walked in to do a takeout order, ordered a tender salad and wanted a drink. Out of drinks, the salad dressing I wanted and had not enough to cover salad, they were also out of forks and I guess they were out of eggs because I had none on my salad. This is a $14 salad! Slightly more than Texas Roadhouse but mainly lettuce. Come on! No forks no drinks, time to close.

Horrible food. The pancake was awful. Tastes like flour and water. My dog wouldn't eat it. How to you mess up a pancake?!?!?!

My husband and I had lunch there for the first time today. I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and it didn't disappoint.We both got the fish boxes and they were excellent. Very friendly service. Hope to make it back soon.
I would recommend this place to everyone. it's a very friendly and relax place.

Will make your tastebuds walk on water! I had the fish, fries, onion rings, potato salad and grits! It was absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to try the chicken, shrimp, Mac and cheese and greens!!!
