Atmosphere- 5 stars- this quant little eatery resides in an old building on the end of the Mid-City bridge located on the West side of Fairmont WV. The inside has been redone making it a modern yet cozy area decorated with photos of well known chefs and vines of white flowers accented with white lights strung on the wall. The place is super clean and offers a small area with deserts and bakery items.Service- 5 stars- Kevin was our waiter and he was friendly and very attentive.Food- 5 stars- they offer daily specials and a decent beer and wine list. I had the dirty rice with chicken, beef and hot peppers. It was awesome. It must be a popular dish because I saw many people ordering it. I also had the roasted red pepper chicken bisque for a starter and again it was delicious. My wife got the blackened chicken breast sandwich with Swiss cheese and a side of fries. She said it was one of the best chicken sandwiches she had ever had.I would highly recommend stopping here. From what I understand it’s get quite busy in the evenings. We went mid afternoon and beat the rush.Parking: Small side lot which when restaurant is busy could fill up fast however there is street parking in the area and it’s free.

Very cool space! We got a variety of items including the crabby cheese sticks, dirty rice and hot Italian sandwich and everything was delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful for a couple that couldn't make up their minds! The only thing I'm slightly upset about is that we didn't find this place sooner.

My girlfriend and I had dinner here for the first time. Very clean and eclectic place. Enjoyed the Regae Music. The food was quite delicious.Nice to see Fairmont has a restaurant that serves great food. I've seen several restaurants in this town come and go. I hope, pray and wish that this special place stays around for a very very long time. One small suggestion: add Moscato to your wine list. and have you ever thought about adding Iced Chai to the menu? There is a restaurant in Wheeling that serves Spiced Iced Chai. It is to die for!

There are a number of things that I could start off by saying I enjoyed about this place I could say that the food was really good I could say that the ambience was nice and cozy without being bright and annoying I could say that the service was really good which are all true... But I got to tell you about the dish I don't like the key lime pie I was dead set against trying this and I actually enjoyed it enough I up and wrote this review. Can't recommend enough

Visited once during the holidays. Food was delicious, the bruschetta really stood out! Service was really good too. My only thing was we went on a busy day place was crowded, tables were kinda close together maybe it was just because we have an infant so there's never a good place for a high chair but seemed like it was worse here, plus there was an echo and all the noise from everyone was a bit too much for me to have a calm normal conversation with my husband. We still enjoyed it just hope to catch them before the crowd one of these days.

Just a bit late on the review. We had our Holiday Ball here-HIGHLY recommend. They went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was addressed. The food was amazing, the staff so attentive, and we absolutely loved every minute of it!

Had a great meal for bday/ vday. Prime rib special was very good. Loved how they put the au jus on the meat. So tender. Sides were also very good. Jambalaya is just as good as remembered. We parked behind the old rambling root as parking is limited. Ordered a slice of key lime pie for dessert. It was incredible. It was a different take with a delicious lime flavored meringue topping. The center creamy part reminded me more of cheesecake. The Graham crust was so buttery good and definitely homemade. Can't wait to come back!!

Was passing through while traveling and found this gem!! What a friendly restaurant, staff was extremely nice & knows the menu, great recommendations & the food was DELICIOUS! The bruschetta, jambalaya & salad were all incredible. Hats off to the chef! My only regret is we don't live here because if we did this would be our spot!!!!
