This is a super special place. I can't remember her name, but the lady working the bar and bikeshop at the same time was super helpful, knowledgeable, and personable.
The bike rental at Arrowhead bike farm is super easy and a great deal. The bikes were out and ready for us when we arrived and they had a map for us detailing all the trails. Several trails you could get to from the bike rental shop and go into the park. My husband and I are pretty novice mountain bikers and there were plenty of trails for us to do at a beginner comfort level. The staff were friendly and really knowledgeable and helped us feel confident. I would definitely recommend and would rent bikes through Arrowhead again. I liked that I could reserve the bikes online before hand and that we got to keep them for a whole day, from 10am to 6pm for a flat fee. The bikes themselves were in great shape and easy to ride. Can't wait to hit the trails again soon
Been here many times and have always appreciated their product selection, great service and the friendliness of the staff. They have always been happy to share information about local trails and rides and really all things bicycle. I don't normally write reviews, but I'm gonna write a quickie this morning. Yesterday at 5:30, I rolled in after my ride with a leaking front brake and no stopping power. They explained the problem in a minute and then replaced my front brake lever, tube and caliper assembly all while I waited in the final 30 minutes of their work day. For sure 5 star service! Also it's a great place to stop for a beer and a bite after your ride.
Just checked out after spending 2 nights in a primitive site. Not sure if I missed something on the website, but be aware that the bathrooms near the sites are porta Johns and have no running water. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I was under the impression it had running water (again, it’s quite possible that I missed something online about this while booking) the bathrooms and shower house with running water are near the front entrance. The bathroom and shower house is quite small with only 2 toilets and 2 showers, one of which is in the same stall as a toilet (speaking for the men’s bathroom atleast.) I was there in early November, but I’d be curious if it’s big enough to service the camp during peak season. The bathroom was also not the cleanest place, but I’d put it on par with your average campground shower house.
Pricing for a tent site was under $40, but atleast outside of peak season seems a little high with no running water or power nearby.
That being said, it was still a nice place with great staff and a great atmosphere. All that in combination with its proximity to great hiking and MTB trails make it a cool place. I’m definitely interested in coming back during peak season when the restaurant is opened.
I'd give the bike shop 3 stars. It's well-stocked for a small shop, but no mechanic to help with your bike (even though we called ahead and they said they had a mechanic). So I tried to rent a bike, but there's no XL e-bike available, and the one Large e-bike was hanging on the wall broken, (again, no mechanic to fix it).
But they have beer! Good beer too.
So that adds two stars to my overall rating :)
The bartender, a/k/a the only employee, is cool.
This place is awesome! Where else can you camp, get a beer and learn mountain biking! They were so accommodating and let us book a mountain biking course and trail w less than the required 48 hours notice. Our guide and instructor, Aspen, was patient, encouraging and helped us have a great time despite us being Flatlanders from Florida! A beer or beverage at the end of your trip is included. We will definitely be back to camp here!
I LOVE this campsite! It has everything you need- perfect location for exploring, spacious sites, goats, food and drink, bikes, dog-friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. Easy check-in and friendly staff!
Super friendly staff, great food and beer! Goats! Bikes! Camping! What more could you ask for?
Worth the visit.
Can only review the food and camping experience, but the food was very average despite the price increase. It also took over an hour to get the food. The camping area itself is fine, with a good location, but either due to other camper's dogs or dogs from the nearby neighborhoods, you will hear dog barking for hours throughout the night. We also noticed a drone flying overhead for some time during the day. Not sure if it was from other campers or what, but either way it really took away from the experience.
For a camping experience, I would not recommend.
Campsite and bar was great.

Great site with access to lots of trails. Bike rentals are quite reasonable. Most importantly, the staff is awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Did the group ride with Aspen and Dultan, and they were great! Highly recommend.
We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to New River Gorge NP, and were so impressed with this campground! The bathhouse and porta potties were clean and stocked and the campground was meticulously maintained. We rented mountain bikes to join the community ride and had a blast riding with Aspen and Dalton! Next time I find myself in NRG, I’ll definitely be staying here!
Trails, pump track, jump line, trials obstacles, bike shop, bike wash station, food, drink, campground, goats, and only 5 mins from downtown Fayetteville. Great little spot.
Awesome bike rental location. Reasonably priced, right next to trails including some of the best views in New River national park, so don’t need a rack or big car or anything. Didn’t get a chance to try out the food or beers but the vibe was on point for sure.
Great ambiance and food! It’s out of the way of the main roads with traffic and had a perfect patio to rest after hiking in New River gorge.
