I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Mexican food in WV. Whenever I see nopal on the menu, that’s what I am eating. My kids enjoyed their food- always a plus.

Awesome street tacos and nachos! Would eat from here again
This was hands down one of the best meals I have ever had. Excellent atmosphere, service and THE best Quesabirria tacos I have had.

The menu was varied and the portion sizes ample. Quesobirriria Tacos were delicious. If you’ve never had them before, this would be an excellent time to try them. Fajitas came out sizzling and well seasoned. Mexican street corn was excellent.

Edit: stopped here again a year or so later. The food was just kind of meh, lacking in flavor, and overall kind of disappointing. Service was okay - they were understaffed, so our server was good but too overworked for it to be a good experience. It was not worth the trip, time, or cost, and I don't think we'll be going back.
So glad we found this little restaurant. Don Rizo is a cut above the other Mexican choices in this area (WV). Flavor, spice, ingredients (cactus! esquites! multiple options with variety, unique combinations, and not everything just smothered in cheese). The margs were excellent (house made sour mix, and not overly syrupy sweet), but the food was so good that they went forgotten for a bit. Will absolutely be coming back when we're in the Fayetteville area.

Definitely one of the better Mexican joints around these parts, and I hail from New Mexico so I've seen some good ones haha. Most are marked by plates of slop, this is uniquely different. I quite enjoyed my food, and so did the folks I was with. Very good stuff, not the best I've had, but bonus points for being the best local joint!

Food was pretty decent. Service was great. Ceviche was ok. The chicken tacos were good. Street corn was my favorite and it was delicious. Once of the better Mexican restaurants here I suppose. Worth a visit.
