The food is great and the owner Trevor Harper is an amazing man. He goes above and beyond to make your dining experience a great one! If you want to support a great local business and owner then look no further than The Spot!

Terrible customer service. We had to wait close to 30+ minutes for our food and another 15 for our ice cream order to be taken. Then to top it off the waitress was being very rude talking to another customer about our children upon thinking we had left earshot. We have 3 small children ages 3 and two 5 year olds - they weren’t yelling or screaming, but they were certainly restless by the time we got our food. To set and say how you “feel young parents aren’t parenting nowadays and that they deserved an a** busting” along with plenty more that I won’t type while at your job and the children truly weren’t doing more than getting restless over the fact they were waiting 30 minutes for food is truly disgusting. We will NOT be back to a place that clearly doesn’t have “smiling faces” who can tolerate normal child behaviors. The prices are also outrageous and basically we paid a ton for ridicule and rudeness.

There were 5 of us that were in the area to attend The Braxton Brawl 2; fight night at the Gassaway Armory when we stumbled upon this small restaurant that captured our interest. We arrived about 5:45 pm and not being familiar with their menu asked tons of questions. The young lady behind the counter was so friendly and accommodating as she assisted as we chose from a variety of options on the menu. A few of us ordered a UFO signature saucer sandwich and couple ordered the crispy chicken tenders with gravy, fries and a drink. After ordering and sitting down we noticed that they closed at 6 pm. We felt bad and offered to take our meals to go as we apologized but the young lady insisted it was not an issue. A few minutes later she brought out our meals and we couldn’t believe the large sizes of the sandwiches as the portions were so generous at such a good value. I had the Area 51 Calzone. A sandwich this size back home in Ohio would be $17 dollars not the $7.49 the SPOT was charging. Not only was the sandwich huge and an excellent value, it tasted so delicious it had to come from out of this world as my mouth celebrated in anticipation of each bite. The service was second to none as we were checked on a couple times as our drinks were topped off and we were even given to-go cups for our beverages and containers for our leftovers. I highly recommend this place as it was clean, organized and cozy. We will definitely visit again in the near future. Thank you so much for a great experience.

The salad was great and certainly enough for 2. The UFO sandwiches are amazing! They're baked in a pizza crust. Fries were good too. Super reasonable and very clean.

The food was delicious but it was much more cramped and less themed around The Flatwoods Monster than it seemed online..

Great service, friendly staff who really went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and at home. Stopped in here after visiting the Braxton County Flatwoods Monster museum, following in the footsteps of a YouTuber who visited! The Flying Saucer sandwiches were tasty and fresh, and the fried cauliflower was great!

The 2 young men at the window were very polite and helpful. It took nearly 30 mins To get 2 menu items. The food was hot and fresh, but more bread than chicken and veggies.
