“Husband had this pizza years ago at a rural location. He completely forgot about it until seeing sign at a different location in another very rural area. I personally have never had it and I'm extremely picky when it comes to pizza. It's one of my favorite foods. Well he suggested I try it because he remembers loving it over a decade ago. So I agreed and got a simple pepperoni pizza and then drove 15 mins home. Only cost $11.99 plus tax for a 12" Pizza which is cheapest pizza I've ever purchased. I had to rewarm it which made me hesitant on the quality. I was totally wrong. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER EATEN. First purchase for me was yesterday and today I went out and bought 2 more. Great dough, sauce, cheese the works. I will forever be a Hunt Brothers Pizza only..”

“I recently stopped by The Custard Stand in Flatwoods, WV, and it did not disappoint! I had heard great things about their hot dogs, and their famous Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili really lives up to the hype. It added just the right amount of flavor to their classic chili slaw dog. The casual roadside vibe made it the perfect spot for a quick meal during my travels.

Their soft-serve ice cream was a treat, with several flavors to choose from—lemon custard was my personal favorite. I also tried their onion rings, which were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The prices were reasonable, and I loved that they had outdoor seating, making it a great family-friendly place to relax for a bit.

While the service was a little slow, it was friendly and entertaining which made up for it and the overall experience was well worth it. If you’re ever passing through on I-79, I highly recommend making a pit stop at The Custard Stand. It’s a great little slice of West Virginia with classic American food done right!”

“A group of us came from a meeting at 930pm and the hours on the door stated that you closed at 10pm, when the website shows 11pm. When we came in, we asked if we could still get food. The manager on duty said sure, no problem. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. If I am ever around this area again, I will definitely come back to your restaurant. “Food was familiar. Menu is hard to read, with all the diff restaurant menu bits and pieces, maybe make a duplicate to read before you get to the point of ordering?There was a very long back up. I was surprised to see how young the "kid" was, workung the window and apparently calling the shots, gently motivating/urging his crew to move faster due to the developing line.”
