“We stayed the weekend for trail riding and had to make two trips for the food and desserts here! We tried the fried Mac and cheese, pizza, calzone, and Reese’s icecream for dessert! Everything was delicious.”

I didn't want to judge the atmosphere because it appears they're trying to make a better dining room in the future.One thing that did bother me: my dad ordered his food and paid. The cashier skipped me and took care of the guy who literally just walked in for his to-go order while I'm standing there in front of her, ready to place my order. My family all laughed when I got back to the table after seeing it. I told them I guess his $15 order was more important. So, front house customer service needs work! Machine asked for a tip when you pay, but no one is checking on you while you dine in. You have to chase your own stuff if you need anything (boxes). It's very obvious that to go orders are more important even if you're just wanting to place your order.”

“We have been coming here for years every time we come to ride the rock house. They have tons of parking and it's perfect for trailers cause you can pull all the way around! The ladies here are amazing! We always go in for breakfast and I think the world of this place! They always treat us like family and it's the little mom and pop places we love! Food is always fresh and quick! I love to talk to the locals and the vibe is always so chill. I can't speak for anything but breakfast because we never make it back for lunch on the trails but I eat there every morning of our trip and it's something I look forward to every time! We come all the way from Broadway NC and it's a long trip but so worth it! We have met some amazing people in this town! Can't wait to come back!”

The drinks come in those old school red Pizza Hut type glasses- crisp bubbly soda! The restaurant was clean with big tvs for football. We will be back for sure. Best food in Logan county!”

“This was my first visit to the Colonial Room Restaurant. We got there about 8;45 am and wondered if it was open because it looked dark inside, but it was. The place was devoid of customers, except for one other couple, the whole time we were there.The atmosphere was peaceful. The decor reminded me of Cracker Barrel and was interesting to look at. There is plenty of seating, and a gift shop with necessities for travelers (it's by a motel), Hatfield and McCoy Trail T-shirts, a large variety of scented candle wax, purses and other souvenirs and gift items.The three ladies working were friendly and helpful and the rest rooms (men's, anyway) was clean.I got a bacon and sausage omelet with potatoes and toast. They didn't have wheat bread, so I had to get white toast. The omelet was very good and cooked well. The potatoes were ok, but could have been seasoned to be better. The coffee was good and kept flowing!Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot shared by the motel.”

“Excellent experience! First time here and would definitely return! Got the freshly made original pork rinds and out on some Frank's red hot and it was perfect! We don't have this in NJ. Wings weren't crispy like I asked but the mild sauce is to die for! Staff was short but still attentive. Highly recommend.”
