The food was good, but the service was completely unacceptable. This is a buffet we served ourselves yet the cashier (maybe the manager, not sure) wouldn’t let us leave until we gave them almost a $30 tip. That’s outrageous. A tip is supposed to be optional, especially at a buffet where we do all the serving. It felt pushy, unprofessional, and completely ruined the experience despite the food being decent.

Aug. 2 2025 Owner was yelling at the top of his lungs at an employee. This has happened on more than one occasion. NOT professional at all. Hard to eat in an environment like that! We weren't the only customers in the dining area.

Happy Garden Buffet is my go to spot! The food is always fresh, delicious, and there’s tons of variety. I especially love the steak and white rice and sushi. Great service, clean, and totally worth every visit!
As a food connoisseur from Chicago, this buffet offers a nice variety of dishes considering it's a very small buffet. Food looked great, a personal favorite, orange chicken was cooked to a crunchy perfection.... But flavor wise.... It was a huge disappointment. It tastes like some of the frozen meals I buy from Walmart. Noodles were bland and the sauce for the general tso was way too sweet, crab ragoon was just cream cheese with sugar, no umami flavor to it. Overall was left with much to be desired. On to the next one!

Absolutely terrible. Staff treated me like I was stupid for asking where to pay when I've never been there before. Food was old and tasted terrible. Was never checked on to see if I needed anything else to drink. Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Never again. Wouldn't recommend to anyone
