Oreo milkshake was super thin and light on Oreo flavor. Ice cream was mediocre.

Great experience and excellent ice cream! The dogs loved the pup cups after their swim!

Decent Ice Cream yet overly expensive. The worker I encountered was not even remotely friendly, and while I was waiting for my purchase, an employee who had access to this shop, walked in and used profanity loud enough for my 6-year old to hear.So if you want to expose your children to profanity while experiencing a lack of pleasantries from employees, all while being charged $16 for a milkshake and one scoop of ice cream -- by all means, this is your place.
It was a nice place everything tasted good everybody was kind but I do not recommend it because it will make you very

Really friendly, quick service. My five year old wanted to order his own and the employee was so great with him!
Fast service. Good flavors and decent portions.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out they serve Hersheys ice cream not Turkey Hill (as advertised outside). The teenage girls working there are very friendly and efficient. We had multiple orders and all were correct, served quickly, and with a smile.
The owner of this shop is really nice. They re-opened the shop for us after the evening was rained out and gave our dog a generously portioned pup cup for free. The pistachio ice cream was tasty. Also, thanks for keeping my lost phone safe and delivering it to me!
Really good ice cream ?? for a good price

Offering a variety of from desserts, A La Mode Café is an ideal place to visit after a long walk around town or towpath, or after a long hike up Maryland Heights. Ice cream flavors are varied enough that basics are available alongside more interesting ones. Generally, pricing is fair, and wait times are minimal. I don't believe there is indoor seating (almost admittedly I may be wrong), so be prepared to eat and walk or find somewhere nearby to sit down.
Don't list yourself open until 7 if you are closed at 6:00. Bummed we rushed through dinner.

Nothing fancy but $6 for a scoop of ice cream.
Outstanding customer service!
The blonde at the counter was really quick and nice, and she gave us portions that were totally worth the price! (Especially in a cup.)
