Good food for the money. Stafd was friendly and accomedating.

Went for the delicious El Jefe and also discovered the best West Virginia Hotdog fixed the right way! Drinks were great, also!

Waiters didn’t bring silverware of napkins, we had to keep going up and asking them for basic things. My friend’s burger took a way longer time than the rest of ours and came out burnt. Waiters clearly didn’t care about what they were doing. My burger was delicious, though.

Went there for the first time, was looking forward to it since there are limited places to eat at in Charles Town and the reviews. Tried using the QR code on the table and that wouldn’t work. So I used the QR code on the menu, it automatically gave us a table number not ours. Was able to talk to a food runner about it and he was helpful in making sure we got what we ordered. The burger was good but the wings nothing to talk about. While waiting for our food a runner walked up a few time to try and hand us someone else’s order. Nothing comes out together from the order. It wasn’t just our table, every table was like that. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the process they try to use. $70 for a burger, wings, fried pickles and a beer is a little crazy. I’m not against paying whatever the cost as long as it is worth it. The place is run like a food truck….

Alstadt’s is a hidden gem! Our server Ian was great with our party of 12 and took down our entire order by memory and absolutely nailed it! Food was delicious and brought to our table quickly! Worthwhile to check out whether you spent your day on the river or not!

WV dog and fries came out in 5 minutes and was enjoyable. It took almost 30 minutes for fountain beverages and a hockey puck burger that should have been medium. Just ate the fries and left. It wasn't worth the wait time to send it back. Didn't realize it was attached to a water sports business so it was packed. Live music on the deck at 2 PM was too much. Given the glowing reviews, I really thought that everything would have been better.

It is basically a bar which has a restaurant part on the side of a water park. The food was yummy. But stuff didn't give us a welcome vibe.

1 hr for chicken tenders w/ french fries & loaded fries. Staff became disgruntled when my wife inquired about our order. Entire party had eaten and left table before we received our food including the member who order 15 minutes after us. Expect to mobile order from table because you will not be greeted or served(seat yourself).

Rainy day, but the service was very accommodating since we had 2 dogs with us. Reuben sandwich was good. And my wife was happy with the fish sandwich.

Visited again on 6/19/25 and they couldn't have been nicer. Service was excellent and exceptionally friendly. Food and drinks were delicious... Especially after a day on the river Really enjoyed our meal.

Food was good. But no wait service, you just order through the website. So you don't know if what you ordered is out until you've paid and they come out to tell you it's out. Happened with 2 of our items. Not a big deal, but a server would have been able to tell you before you ordered.

Ok food. Attached to River Riders. Good service.

Decent burgers, but probably best for folks who are coming back from rafting.
