Alstadts Ale House

Visited again on 6/19/25 and they couldn't have been nicer. Service was excellent and exceptionally friendly. Food and drinks were delicious... Especially after a day on the river Really enjoyed our meal.

Food was good. But no wait service, you just order through the website. So you don't know if what you ordered is out until you've paid and they come out to tell you it's out. Happened with 2 of our items. Not a big deal, but a server would have been able to tell you before you ordered.

Ok food. Attached to River Riders. Good service.

Decent burgers, but probably best for folks who are coming back from rafting.

Very good local beers. Burgers were good. Wings average. Great view from the terrace. Service was working hard.

Sadly, some very loud and ignorant customers on an adjacent table ruined the atmosphere.

This was hands down the best burger I had in I can’t remember when… (tried their Alstadts burger). It was perfectly cooked, red peppers and onions were the perfect combination, and whatever sauce was in it, it made it impossible to put down. Excellent fries, amazing service, surprising music and great and friendly atmosphere. Perfect end to a day in Harpers Ferry.

Great food, drinks, and service, but the best part was the angelic voice radiating from the back of the house, Anthony. He is truly the songbird of the generation. Get this man on a stage!!!!!

I recently visited Alstadts Ale House, and I must say it was an incredible experience. I ordered the bacon cheddar cheeseburger with fries, and it was hands down the best meal I've ever had in my entire life.
A huge shoutout to Stevie, the amazing manager who made sure everything was perfect. Also, a special thanks to Anthony, the cook, who truly outdid himself with this meal.
If you're in Harpers Ferry and looking for a great meal, Alstadts Ale House is the place to go!

I had their new Barbacoa Pizza. It was great and they are super cool folks.
Lots of wonderful stuff to do before or after eating (I was floating river, but there are Ziplines and ...)

Chassity was a great server, so sweet. We definitely worked up an apatite ziplining and their fresh and tasty food hit the spot. Chicken Tenders 10/10 Bacon Burger 10/10 Fries 10/10 Mixed Drink 10/10
