🍴 Isabella’s – Harpers Ferry, WV 🏞️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (6 out of 5 stars) Because why the hell not??? This isn’t my normal kind of post, but I’m reviewing along my 🏃‍♂️ running journey so that runners and explorers alike can discover the lesser-known, truly amazing places I find along the way 🌍✨ I stopped into Isabella’s on a whim and left absolutely blown away 💥 🔥 Pros: • 🙌 Awesome waitress, friendly, funny, and genuinely cared about making my visit great. • 😊 Staff was super welcoming and knew a ton about the local area 🗺️. • 🍄 Food was amazing! I ordered the Breaded Mushrooms ($9.95), a massive portion (20+ mushrooms) perfectly fried, crispy outside, tender inside, and served with ranch 😋. • 🍺 Great beer selection, small but solid list! I went with the Devils Backbone Vienna Lager (6.5%) from Virginia 🍂, smooth and similar to a Yuengling 🍻. 👉 The waitress even bought my first beer when I couldn’t decide, that kind of hospitality is rare these days ❤️. • 🖼️ Simple but awesome decor, miner photos, a vintage Coca-Cola clock 🕰️, quirky signs, and fun little gifts 🎁. From the outside, you’d never guess how cozy it is inside. • 🐕 Service animal friendly indoors and dog friendly outdoors. They even brought my pup 🐶 a bowl of water 💧 and a slice of bacon! 🥓 🚫 Cons: Honestly, none 👌 🌟 Final Thoughts: Isabella’s deserves 6 out of 5 stars! From the food, to the atmosphere, to the genuine kindness, everything about this place is top-tier 💫. Great pizza and subs! Love their "Turtle Pizza" which is a white pizza with pickles. Definitely my favorite there.

Gluten-free pizza! We split a 10" GF "Kramer" - delish! - and a chef's salad. For two hungry cyclists, this was a hearty and tasty meal for a reasonable price. Sorry, no photo. We dove in and enjoyed every morsel.

We tried the pickle pizza it was good really loved the thin crust
Service was excellent and he even bought out my dog turkey and treated her like a queen

The restroom was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned for some time. Our pizza had a piece of hard plastic in it, which was found by biting it. Even without the plastic the pizza was not good, a gloppy mess. Not recommended.

I gave one star because zero was not an option. I will start off by saying that our server was great and very apologetic for the unfortunate situation. 3 out of 5 in our party ordered salads with grilled chicken. The chicken, and I kid you not, tasted like Fabuloso. We called our waitress over, told her the chicken tasted odd, and asked if they cleaned with Fabuloso. She confirmed that they did. Upon further inspection, at least one piece of chicken was raw. The waitress apologized and removed the salads from the bill. 2 of our kids got pizza and that was fine.

We came in with a group of 10, seeing the restaurant was empty probably should’ve been our first sign to leave. The food was pretty hit and miss, some were decent, some were terrible. The soft drinks tasted weird, the Carlisle pizza dough was undercooked, wings were overcooked. The prices were more expensive than we expected, around $27 for a large pizza, $14 for a small.

The only good takeaway was the service, but good god it took so long for the food to come out.

Get beyond the appearance y’all because they are grinding and the food is great! Staff might be limited but you won’t be disappointed. Def will be back! 🍻

Cool place. Food was decent for the price, but the fries were mostly soggy. It seemed like only one person knew what they were doing, but newbies gotta learn and serving tourists all day is taxing, so it's understandable.

Coffee was horrible, milk was off, expensive and dirty, avoid! Yup, the place with the train carriage, stating 'best coffee' sign. Avoid the coffee for a start...

Just overall top to my expectations I didn’t stop and expecting much it was kind of just bumping into a place and being hungry but their service friendliness the atmosphere and the food all topped my expectations super friendly staff loved our waitress she was so sweet , will be stopping in again next time my family and I are in town !!!

I went here after being on the AT for 4 days. I really wanted and sub and they did not disappoint. Ashley was the best server. Fast service and full drinks! I’ll be back!

Cool little place across from the train tracks. The restaurant looked like a rail car. The food was perfect. The pizza wasn't too crunchy nor too doughy. It was cooked just right. Cheesy Bread was great as well. The staff was awesome and very attentive.

Polite attentive staff. Food was great and reasonable prices. Interesting pictures of Harper's Ferry during floods and train wrecks. They were open the day after a snow storm when every other deli and pub was closed
