The brisket is amazing! Probably my favorite! Oh, and the Kale! Fabulous! Just a good, southern comfort food.
Me and the Hubby went out for dinner tonight and we will be back! Some sides lacked flavor but overall our experience with the restaurant alone was an 8/10. Bar drinks ran long but business was slow so idk what happened there. Recommendations; Rangoon Dip, Baked Beans, Okie Onion Burger, Banana Pudding
Overpriced for low quality food..only thing that was good was the appetizer (Brisket /wonton dip) . I will be surprised if they are in business in 6 months. I hate to give a negative review , but in all honesty , I’ll not go back.
Had a really nice meal this evening. All these 1 star reviews complaining about bad service on opening day is pretty funny.
Evan was our server and he was definitely new to serving but he was nice and attentive and gave good recommendations for us. I always try the pulled pork as my first dish at a BBQ restaurant and the one I had at Bask did not disappoint. Great smoke flavor and very tender. I'm not a huge coleslaw fan, but their coleslaw was pretty solid. I got the bacon braised kale as my side and it was delicious..I will definitely get it again!
Someone mentioned them only having one sauce, but that's not the case if you ask. My sandwich came with their house BBQ sauce (a little too vinegar forward for my taste) but the Texas Heat they have was excellent. Good, traditional BBQ sauce with a nice bit of heat on it. They had a couple others as well for a total of four sauces, you just have to ask (they may ask you eventually once the staff is trained up).
I tried my daughters mac and cheese and it was really good, maybe a touch dry, but I'm sure each batch will be slightly different. My wife had the smashburger and enjoyed it; our friend got the chicken sandwich and liked it as well.
They have a very good beer selection and a full cocktail menu. We didn't have any service issues like what other complained about, maybe because as I mentioned, they are complaining about the kinks of a brand new restaurant being worked out which maybe is why the grand opening isn't until August 18 and they are currently operating as a soft opening.
I look forward to going back to try additional menu items and I'm excited to see what's hidden on the menu that will be available to order starting August 18 during the grand opening.

The service was a performance of excuses. We waited nearly two hours for our order. When it did arrive the fish sandwich was anorexic, the chicken was raw with a large dollop of mayonnaise that had been specifically requested be omitted, and the steak sandwich was cold.
Honestly, the entire meal could have been leftovers from our refrigerator.
The manager comped our meal, however, that didn’t erase the time wasted watching others around us receive their cold food.
Great food. I enjoyed the chopped brisket and pimento cheese sausage with the cooked kale. Everything was perfect, and the service was fast.

We went on their first day open and the food was excellent. The service was great, too. We can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Decided to try out Bask on Saturday about 6p for dinner. The restaurant was full, so we chose to sit at the bar. The interior had a cool southwest vibe (but not overdone). Fun art work display. They had already sold out of the wontons (sad, but will definitely go back for them!) so we ordered the pork belly burnt ends and onion rings. Both were wonderful, the burnt ends were flavorful and tender, onion rings were large rings and crispy. So good, I recommended them to a customer that came in a bit later and sat next to us. He also agreed they were delicious! Then ordered the Calabrian shrimp salad w/its regular jalapeño corn dressing and a side of blue cheese. Wow, I usually do not order salads, but this one sounded so different. Did not disappoint, the shrimp were grilled perfectly (3 large ones), the house made croutons beautifully seasoned and the house made dressing balanced the dish creatively! It's a keeper.

I got the wings as an appetizer and they were cooked perfectly. The sauce was decent, but had zero heat even though it was supposedly a “Texas Hot” BBQ.
I had the steak sandwich for my entree and that was delicious as well. My girlfriend had the smash burger and it had good flavor too.
One slight bummer was that we tried to order multiple different things that were 86’d. the cauliflower bites, brisket wonton, pulled pork, Mac & cheese, and a couple other things weren’t available at around 8pm on a Saturday. I’ll give them a pass on it since the restaurant just opened and Rails and Ales was happening. I hope in the future though they can plan out portions a little better to last.

Legit smoked food coming out of Huntington and not pre-smoked, pre-cooked like others in the area. Good sides, great sauces. Definitely trying many of the menu options!

Very good! We will definitely be revisiting in the near future! The brisket, ribs and turkey were excellent as well as all of the sides! The manager was very kind and genuinely cared about our experience! 100% recommend you try it!

We came to the restaurant thinking it was going to be a nice dinner I picked it and we thought okay that’s fine. We get there the atmosphere is nice and welcoming ,but we sit down the service was good at first we got drinks he came back we ordered. We ordered at 5:50/6:00 somewhere around there our food got to our table at 8. Something else we realized was the tables around us getting their food and they sat down way after us. I got a chicken sandwich my mom got a fish sandwich and it was as thin as cardboard most of the meat was breading ,and my dad got a steak sandwich he said it was flavorful but cold I got a chicken sandwich. I ordered nothing but chicken and lettuce and the dip on the side everything was on the sandwich when I got it. Also I ate maybe 1/4 of it and I looked down because I noticed something was off my sandwich was a bit chewy and I look down and ask my mom if that’s raw chicken she showed it to my dad we got the manager it was raw chicken in the middle. We got our meals refunded and left hungry. I doubt I ate enough to get sick but the worry is still there and I HATE food poisoning it’s terrible. DO NOT EAT HERE🚨🚨🚨

We ordered an appetizer and never got it. Then got charger for a completely different appetizer. The menu says you get a choice of barbecue sauce, however they only have 1 sauce. Also you only get 1 oz sauce per person. Then the manager told me I was wrong about what I ordered. I had to divert the restaurant managers attention to his menu. Where he still would not admit he’s wrong about what the items are named. They are out of lemons for your ice water. But the bar is fully stocked of lemon for your mocktails. If you order the 3 n 3 it doesn’t come with buns unless you ask.
