Probably the worst so-called BBQ I've ever had.
We have eaten here a few times over the years but the food prep on today was lousy. We ordered 15 HOT wings to go and picked up in the drive through. No hot sauce whatsoever. Just breaded wings. This is not the first lousy drive through experience. Last fall we paid with cash and the window clerk got kinda nasty about our waiting for our change back. This tipping culture entitlement is getting out of control.
The Beef Brisket sandwich was delicious!!! Highly recommend!!
I did take out order here. The food was good, but when I came home I realized all the food that I paid for wasn't in the bag
I came here for lunch because it had good reviews, but was thoroughly disappointed when I received a plate with what looked like a bunch of microwaved food on it that was room temp. My friend got the burrito that was supposed to be loaded and it just had ground beef in it. The waitress was nice though, but really disappointed in the food especially for the price. Mac n cheese looked and tasted like dried up stouffers.
Great place for food, or just hanging out with friends having a beer!
Wings too jumbo, brisket rather dry,
Sides weren’t special in any way, service was —- interesting… and for the cost, the whole experience was really not great over all.
This was our first time at Buddy's and it definitely won't be the last!! Our server, David was the best server that we've ever had. Our daughter is incredibly shy and I always order for her, David made her feel so comfortable that she ordered for herself for the first time ever!! He was extremely fast and got us everything that we asked for. He was also absolutely hilarious. We watched him deal with a difficult table with grace. The food was delicious but even if it wasn't, we'd come back just to have him as our server!! 10/10 recommend.
We ordered ribs & combos for dinner take out. It was ready before our order time, everything was cold, dry and seemed as though it had been sitting out for hours. It couldn't have been healthy. We got a full refund but it didn't leave us time to get dinner elsewhere. We won't be back. 1st impressions mean everything, hot food means even more.
Always a great choice.

Tonight was our first time eating at the Milton location, staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied.Thr food was good I had the half a chicken, Mac & cheese,Baked Beans, my husband had the half lb Barbeque & onion rings definitely going back.
Everything we had was amazing. The ribs were perfectly smoked. The BBQ was delicious. I don't think you could go wrong ordering anything on the menu. * skip the house made chips other than that go wild and have someone in your party order different things. That's what we did and shared. The service was top-notch as well. We even got a fresh, warm cookie for the Little in our party at the end. Thanks, Buddys team. You all rock.

My experience was the worst hospitality and barbeque I ever ate it was just nasty and then my friend filled.out an application to work there amd put me down as a reference the manager when she seen the application asked my friend who that was on as a reference which was my name and she said that's her out there in the parking lot the two girls the manager and the worker came out there and asked me was I who I was and I said yes she told me not to ever knock on her boyfriend's door again and we proceeded to argue and they proceeded to get away from me because I proceeded that if they would have stepped another step towards me I would have whooped both females all over that parking lot that's the experience I had their and the food is nasty and the they were lazy and all was all dressed in pajamas this is the one in Milton

I wanted to eat Italian, but they didn't open until 4 pm. Then Soul Food, but they didn't open until 2 pm. I was super hungry, hot and tired, so Buddy's it was. Since moving to WV from NorCal, I have to say the BBQ here generally makes me sad. Oakland, which was my town, has top notch BBQ, which usually sells out by noon. I will not give up though, and continue to try every BBQ place I can find. So I went to Buddy's. Their logo reminded me a bit of KPIG (Blues, R&B, Rock radio station in Cali).
I expected more sad BBQ, but they could compete in Oakland, and they may win with their chicken. WOW! I got the 4 meat platter, and a variety of sides. I am no stranger to low and slow, and my ribs and pork shoulder are restaurant quality. Brisket I don't do, as it's too expensive. I'm all about the poverty food. But I cannot make smoked chicken right. And often the chicken I've bought has been overcooked and dry, or juicy and undercooked. But Buddy's chicken? Juicy, perfectly done, and full of flavor.
I didn't know it could be that good.
I got a variety of sides, and a few of them were not to my taste. Nothing wrong with them, but I'm fussy about some things. My grandparents had a chicken (egg) farm, so I'm no stranger to farm fresh veggies. I believe corn is best cooked on the day it's picked, and barely cooked so the kernels pop in your mouth, and the juice sprays around. So I can't eat well done corn, and this was. Also I'm super fussy about corn bread and hush puppies, and while there was nothing wrong with these hush puppies, they just didn't work for me. So they stayed on the plate, while I packed up the rest of the food. I tried two desserts, both also excellent: Toffee Butter Cake, and a peanut butter and chocolate pie. (My doggie bad was huge, and I will eat well for days off of this meal)
The Chef came to my table, apologized about the sides I didn't eat, and offered me two more, for free! Again, blown away! Fabulous young man, with such courtesy and manners. My waitress was also excellent, but he was beyond the pale.
Moving is hard. I'm exhausted physically, and emotionally. Buddy's was an oasis for me, just when I needed it. And while I will continue to try every BBQ joint I find, I now have a go-to: Buddy's.
I look forward to working my way through the rest of the menu. Side Note: I have heart issues, which is why I cook most of my own food. There is just too much salt in most restaurant food, and my feet swell up like pillows. I had no adverse salt reaction at all to Buddy's food, and I ate the rest of the pulled pork when when I got home. Pulled pork is usually full of extra salt, either in the rub, or the sauce, but not Buddy's. It's safe for the salt sensitive.
