Lovely store and staff ...I really enjoyed browsing, sitting, reading, and sipping my iced tea (I think I got something like a moroccan mint, which was very refreshing). Lots of cute things everywhere. Parking was close and free, and the AC was a relief during a horrible heatwave.

I love Cicada bookstore and cafe so much! It's the best place to chill, chat with strangers, browse, or sit and work. Drinks are solid whether you need something hot on a cold day or something cold on a hot day. Book selection is broad and inclusive. And I absolutely love how connected and committed to the community Cicada is. I never miss spending time here when I'm in Huntington.
It’s so cute and the staff is amazing! The coffee tastes so good and is more affordable than name brand coffee! I went to take pictures and felt so comfy browsing the books! SHOP LOCAL!!!!

SUPER friendly staff. Comfy place for coffee. Charming vibe and decor. Book selection limited but some interesting things in the stacks. In the middle of lots of antique stores, one of which has a section on Central City history. Had a steamed milk with vanilla; enjoyed it. Would return!

Warm, cozy coffee shop in a somewhat remote place in eastern Kentucky. Really loved their espresso. I am a picky coffee drinker and don't easily give high marks unless I think the coffee is really good..
