Great food, very friendly lady at the front desk who always makes me smile. I did, however, hear a manager speak rudely to an employee. I felt so bad for that employee. Said manager could have handled that issue with more tact and in private, as not to publicly embarrass her employee.

the grill ignored my boyfriend as he attempted to order the veggie burger they offer. he tried ording for around 10 minutes, as they just ignored us. this was after we had waited at the counter for 5 minutes with no one coming to help us.

As a Marshall student, the food at Harless is literally the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. For any incoming freshman, avoid the meal plan if you can. On average you are paying like 10-15 dollars per meal for wet garbage. In addition, you only have like 3 options per day for said 15 dollars (all of which are horrible) and if your schedule doesn’t line up to when they are open, that sucks. I am not playing, you will he overpaying for the worst food you have ever had in your life.In addition, the place is absolutely filthy and food becomes a congealed mess unless you show up the microsecond they make it. The service is absolutely horrible too.
Harless Dining Hall has went down in quality like most of the food options here at Marshall University. This is my 4th year attending. As a freshman, the food quality was surprisingly good with many options to choose from. COVID messed up everything. Food quality is questionable. Fewer food options. Most staff are not happy to be there and it shows. You want to take something to go? You have to buy their food container for 5 dollars. Late night food options do not exist now, and Harless doesn't pick up any slack closing at 7PM. At least some staff are nice and it only costs a meal swipe.
