Went on a Saturday evening and had no wait. Both of our waitresses were super nice and did everything right. I chose the all you can eat catfish dinner and it was surprisingly good. Tartar sauce was great as well, lots of dill. Hushpuppies and coleslaw tasted fresh and my green beans were even good. Definitely one of the best fish and chips you will find in the area. Not to mention its all you can eat.
My wife got the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. She said it was very good but the onion rings weren't her favorite. Still very happy with her meal
Looking forward to returning and trying something different. Lots of menu items to choose from. Plus maybe we will get to see our favorite person Emily.

Food arrived dried out and was tasted terrible. I ordered 3 meat sampler and all 3 meats were dried out. Food tasted like it had sat under warming lights for hours.

Great little place, its hard to miss and glad I went here, Best burger I have had in years, The only thing that could be better is the service, The waiter never came back to ask if I needed anything else and I never got a refill. Looked like the staff was just standing around. I tried waving them down but I guess they didnt see me. I still recommend it though because the food is just awesome.

The young ladies at the register and serving went above and beyond with customer service. I'm here working and it was by far the friendliest place I've been. The food was average, but not bad at all. But as an out of towner,I would go back ,just because I felt welcomed.

Went in the restaurant on my husbands birthday today, because he wanted ribs. He had them there before and liked them. We came in and they told us to sit wherever we wanted and then ignored us. They were not crowded. The person at the register cleaned off a table and went to the table behind us and asked if they needed anything, while we sat there without even a menu to look at. There was another person that could have offered menus but no one did. Service is as important as the food to me and it was just bad. Sad this happened on my husband's birthday too. They were a little slow the few other times we were there, but they didn't ignore us. I think they only care about their regulars.😔 I will not go back.

Seated promptly, and the order taken, the BBQ Baby Back Ribs were fantastic! Smoke tasting, tender and a half a rack is plenty. The Cowboy Beans were exceptional and full of flavor!😋 They have some sausage in them but it's really the other ingredients that make them distinctly better than most I've tasted. Not the run of the mill Van Camp's. The side salad was fresh and the tea was good. My server had some trouble knowing what the dessert offerings were but I'd had plenty anyhow. Best BBQ I've had in awhile. Very good. Had a very nice chat with the friendly owner. I highly recommend Holy Smoke BBQ and if I'm in town again, I'll be back.

BBQ so damn good you would not just smack your Mama but you Grandma too! There BBQ is that damn good! I was recommended this joint and it is the best BBQ I have tasted in all of West Virginia. I do not know of anyone or any restaurant that can surpass the quality and quality of such fine meats and sides anywhere in the tri-state area.
When John Denver sang of the beauty and joys of West Virginia. He was no5 singing about the mountains but that of the curvature and collections of meats on the smoker at this world class restaurant and hospitality!

If diving past on I64 take time to get off and come into town for a meal. In a party of five no one had a negative thing to say about the food, it was all delicious.
