I had ate LJS over in south point a couple weeks ago and it was so good so I wanted it again. it was ok here but wasn't the same. Just not cooked long enough and not as fresh. I hadn't been to this one in a long time and I really like LJS. I quit going here bc it just isn't good anymore at this location plus they messed up my order. this time the order was right the service was fine. the food just wasn't as good as I know it can be. the fish and chicken was pulled too early, it was done but on the soggy side fries were the same way. step up your game LJS huntington bc south point has u beat by a mile. worth the extra 30 min drive for me, actually to go there. js.

These hours are ridiculous only open until 7:00 and after they close all there lights are still on...I pulled up to order because they looked like they were open, this was a little after 8:00 and no one ever came on the speaker to take my order so I pulled around and realized they must be closed, looked up hours and it was 11:00-7:00 if your workers doesn't want to work you need to hire new employees!!!!! And you should get them to turn the lights OFF so people want pull there and hey save you some money on the electric bill, right

Things went south the minute I walked in and looked at the menu. I know this isn’t the fault of any particular store because the whole chain switched the style of fries, but I could tell by the menu pictures of the waffle fries that they were going to be horrible and boy was I right. I ate one and threw the rest out. Then I noticed the lobby soda fountain was down. Then I waited ten minutes for my order when there was literally NO ONE else in line.

Food was great made fresh after we ordered but service was really slow. Employees talking in the parking lot when we arrived, assuming they were on break. When we walked in not a single person to great us. After a couple of minutes an employee came from the back, she told us just a minute and she walked over to drive thru to take an order. Then finally another employee came out to take our order. Really liked the new waffle fries. Forgot to take pictures ??♀️

5 people dining, already seated with their food when I arrived. Waited 3-5 minutes on the lady behind counter to look up from her phone to acknowledge I was in the building. Placed order and received food and drink in timely manner. And here is where it turns, no ketchup in the dispenser, (I asked for packets of ketchup only to be asked if that o e was empty) ? then to the dining area. 19 tables open, 6 were dirty, 3 had napkin holders no napkins, 5 had empty bottles of hot sauce/vinegar some tables didn't have anything on them. Kinda point being, if you have time to stand around and stare at your cell phone, all your work had better be done, or be on a break.

Food was amazing, server was incredible! He's always so polite, funny, and attentive to the customers. The manager however. While eating I watched as a man ame in with an application and an interview appointment. She yelled put the window to an employee to tell them she didn't have time for them. She also continued to yell and have a hateful attitude with her employees who are doing an amazing job while she sits on her but yelling at them.
Chicken planks getting pretty thin to say the least. Price has gotten up and portion size getting smaller…

10/10 do not recommend. I basically forced my husband into eating LJs this afternoon and as soon as we stepped inside.. instant regret. But at that point it was too late I couldn’t admit I was wrong and ask to go somewhere else so we ordered. Their food was good. But that restaurant is absolutely disgusting. I don’t at all understand how that place could pass any health department inspection. Im sure the workers do their best to clean, but it goes beyond cleaning. It smells TERRIBLE the moment you walk in. Several ceiling tiles stained and rotting away, gunk all on their floors, the windows were so disgusting you could see the filth on them. I used the bathroom before we left, which is when I realized that’s where the god awful smell was coming from. I felt dirtier walking out of that bathroom than I did when I first stepped into it. I have no complaints about the food or the service but strictly the cleanliness. I truly can’t get over how disgusting that place was. It was hands down the nastiest restaurant I’ve ever been in. I in no way expected anything fancy. Ive been to long johns sooo many times, but usually through drive thru. Now I understand the memes and tiktoks asking who’s keeping Long John’s in business. Before today I’d proudly say “ Me ??♀️”. There’s no way I’d ever eat there again. If that’s how the customer areas of the restaurant look and smell, I can’t even IMAGINE the kitchen.
I’m disgusted that even after smelling the place we decided to stay and eat. But again, I couldn’t let my husband win and admit I made a bad choice in where to eat.
