We had a reservation here for new years eve, our first time trying it though it'd been on our list for awhile. We had crab cakes, scallops, and two filet mignons. Unfortunately while the appetizers and sides had plenty of flavor, our filets had virtually none. The compound butters our steaks came with were very cold and hard, and the steaks did not come out hot enough to melt it. Neither the truffle butter or orange zest butter had any noteworthy flavoring to them. Mine was still tender at least, but my fiancée's was not. I would have liked to have seen black pepper at minimum in tandem with the compound butters. The restaurant seems to have older clientele so perhaps that's why the main dish trended light on seasoning. The service however was great, our server was polite and tentative. For West Virginia fine dining options, Savannah's Bistro is likely one of the best options, so I'd give it a 4/5. Considering offerings outside of the state though, this would be more of a 3/5. For a few hours drive you can explore fine dining options in Cincinnati which has always surpassed anything we have found in-state.

I have made reservations twice for homecoming and prom and the staff does a great job taking care of the big party number. The food is great and came out fast, especially for the number of orders placed. I recommend the salmon!

I booked a table for two for Saturday last week without any problems. However what they failed to mention on the phone was that they had a chef on training that weekend. The menu was pitiful with only dishes that you can't fail to mess up. I got the crab cake for a starter to share with my wife, It was horrible. Crab cake was overcooked, burnt and really salty on top of that the garnish was two smal Leaf of greens, needless to say we left after that. We were told to come back after Sep 7 to get the full menu, We'll give this established another try maybe in October so hopefully I can update and give a better review after next visit. ?

We had a large party of 9 people and we were able to sit outside on a beautiful evening. The drinks were amazing, particularly the "Bees Knees", a drink made with Empress gin, berries and honey. The food was perfect, the salad nicoise and meatballs are the best!

Great environment. Food choices are good but a bit inconsistent in spices (low salt, too much salt), Would definitely return though.

Overall, Savannah's is a great experience. The atmosphere and service are top notch. It is quaint and intimate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food, however, is not quite as good as expected for the price. The crab cakes and scallops are exceptional. The steak, despite being high priced, do not seem high end quality. The meat itself is the weak point. The cook is good and sauce is delicious. Maybe the quality of supply of filets has diminished. I am not sure, but other places have better quality for a better price. The chicken Normandy is another high point. I would recommend trying Savannah's but staying away from the steak.
My husband made reservations for our Valentine's day dinner. The food is amazing and the portions are just right. We had an appetizer(bacon wrapped scallops)before our entrees(he had steak and I had pasta)and ordered dessert. The atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy. The staff is friendly and attentive. If you're looking for somewhere to bring a date this is it.

Went for Valentine's dinner and had a great experience! Got in and sat immediately ( had reservations ) service was great, food was great, overall great experience! Would highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: My fiance is Vegan and they had a great black bean burger alternative and plenty of sides that were vegan friendly.Parking: Parking was right next to the entrance and plenty of spaces out front.

I love this historic building and the quaint, quiet vibe inside. The staff is always friendly and on-the-ball. Most importantly the food is amazing! Delicious crab soup, crab cakes, the sauce on the filet makes it the best steak and best deal in town. Ranch is always delicious too!
