Jared was amazing!! He was our bartender the night we came and he made us feel completely included in the experience from the moment we sat down. His fun, upbeat attitude brought so much energy to our night, and you can tell he truly enjoys what he does. We absolutely loved having him take care of us and will definitely be back because of him!

I used to somewhat enjoy going to the stonewall. The last time I visited it was awful. The bouncer grabbed one of my companions by the arm while they were walking away, all just to give them a wristband. (why couldn't he have just said excuse me?) There were more security guards there than actual bar patrons. Which is a bit ironic considering there was a transphobic hate crime that began in the club itself. Female bartender was very short and rude. They charged for water at the bar which is ridiculous. They have gone way downhill. I feel safer at most other bars in town as a trans man than I ever have at the stonewall.
Great place to come out and hang and jared and the bartenders are great

Overall I love this place!!! There are a few things I dislike. Music here kinda sucks tbh. I'm at the gay club cause I'm gay and I want to listen to queer music. NOT boots on the ground! Wish they played the music from the side bar on the dance floor. Other than that love the place. I've always felt safe and had a good ass time. The queens are gorgeous! The cover is cheap and the drinks are good. Some of the bartenders can be a little rude, but maybe I'm just too southern and put too much merit in a please and thank you. I LOVE the bar tender Jared though!!! He's always been so kind and sweet. Talking to him really brightens up my night and his service is fast as hell.

Zay and Jared are phenomenal bartenders and create the best atmosphere in the facility. They strive for great service and a personable experience. They are the reason I continue to visit the Stonewall!

The can never answer the phone. It doesn’t matter if they just opened or half way through the night. They also need an updated music playlist tbh. Very outdated.

Megan at the bar is the absolute best.
High cover charge just for a gay bar full of straight people. I think it’s amazing that women in Huntington feel safe in a queer space, but it invites a lot of straight men into that space and now there isn’t really a space for queer people. The first and last time I went a girl drunkenly coerced me into being her wingman so she could find a date. I ended up not really being able to spend time with my boyfriend, but I don’t think we would’ve been able to make good gay friends here anyway

I’m only giving them a 2 because the queens are amazing but everything else is sad to see! For being a gay bar, they really do not care about the queens one bit. They just use the queens to make money and mistreat them. They are the only reason I go there. They would be the last bar or club I would feel comfortable going around. They allow so much shady shit to happen and don’t take any action until it’s a huge viral story that the whole town is in on. Aside from the shady bargoers, the social media presence is abysmal. I’ve never seen graphics and flyers so bad. I actually had to unfollow their pages because it was infuriating me. They need to treat their queens like actual workers, get with the times and hire a young graphic designer and have someone young run their social media. If they don’t try to adapt, I can easily see them falling and crumbling to the ground. They really only cater for the 50+ year old white gay guys but they’ll be gone soon. Make it a place for the new generation and treat the queens better.
And just look at how they respond to anyone with any critique in their reviews. They are so so bratty and immature, it’s really disheartening.

this place is NOT safe for anyone in the LGBTQ community.
Environment has become so unsafe, not sure if there is any security or just bad security. This is suppose to be a safe place for lgbt which it is obviously not and there is no steps being taken to keep it safe.
I used to go all the time; not anymore. It’s not safe. Even if you are having an issue with someone and ask someone to walk you to your car they scoff and walk away. If you want to drink, dance, watch shows and get shoved into the men’s room to get assaulted. Totally go.
Fifty million stars!!! I felt so safe and comfortable, met a new friend, and had the best time! Thank you SW, it was a blast and I'm excited for the next!
