I stopped in a few weeks ago on the way to Nashville for a business meeting. I pulled to the curb downtown and searched "best beer bars nearby" Well, lucky me - the Summit Beer Station is 350 ft away - right around the corner! It was a bit slower on a Sunday night than I expected for a college town, but what a great find. It's a fantastic beer bars - in a league with The Blind Tiger in NYC. Their selection is extremely well curated including an offering of Belgians second only, perhaps, to Monk's Cafe in Philadelphia. The bartender was efficient and friendly, and I had a great conversation with a few locals - including Jeff, the owner, who I joined for a late night bite to eat at a nearby place. If it wasn't 539 miles from my home - I'd be a regular, for sure!
