Chimichanga platter supposed to be shredded beef it was plain ground beef no seasoning and dry, same for the chicken a big chunk dry no flavor. Rice over cooked, lettuce tasted like chemicals. No queso sauce on it. Forgot my refried beans.3rd time same thing. Once it was right.

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the greater Huntington area. We moved here 3 years ago and haven't found anything even comparable. But once we found Tequila Grill, we stopped even trying. It's in a strip mall with little else, which isn't ideal, but honestly I'd travel to much much worse for food this good!!

If I could give 0 stars I would I got food poisoning from eating there chicken I have puked and had diarrhea for 24 hrs after eating at this place . Not to mention I paid 70$ for my meal just to puke for a day straight do not eat here !!!
This place is the best for salsa and the food is made to order and is actually authentic. The service is great and the beer is ice

Visited this spot today. Initial impression wasn’t great, as the hostess seemed unfriendly. Despite the busy atmosphere, our order took some time, and when it arrived, the fajitas were bland with chewy fat pieces. The quesadilla, on the other hand, was generously portioned. The crowded seating arrangement might be a downside. Considering giving it another try, but I’ve had better food elsewhere.

I'm editing my rating because like a lot of people have posted, the service has gone down hill in the past year. This is the second time I've called them to order carry-out and been put on hold and no one came back on the line and then when you call back, surprise, the phone is off the hook.... WTH...how is anyone supposed to order anything if your phone is off the hook!?? Finally got someone after 30 minutes and no apology or anything... annnnnd to top it all off, we get home and have the wrong food!! Last time ordering from here. There's plenty of other places to eat in Huntington.....
Last year I was in town for a few months due to a family emergency. I happened upon Tequila Grill and was pleasantly surprised. After living in LA for years, finding quality Mexican food in the Tri-State was not easily done. I was thoroughly impressed with the drinks and barbacoa quesadilla and enjoyed it several times. Toward the end of my time in Kentucky, I went for one last meal. I ordered a side of black beans, and was shocked at how much higher by total was. Come to find out the beans were 9 bucks. For beans. One of the highest margin dishes. I've never paid that much for a side of beans in CA or AK (where I now live - and neither places are cheap). That kind of soured me, but I thought I'd try them again on my first day back in town.Nope.The meat in the quesadilla was in chunks and globs with all kinds of gristle and fatty tissue. I ordered a margarita with Don Julio Blanco and was charged for a margarita plus a shot, which came to 17.99. (This was after I had to go searching for a set-up/napkins/flatware/menu.) I later confirmed with the bartender that their top shelf margarita would've been 13.I get the restaurant business is hard. I've worked in one. But I hate getting ripped off and overcharged. This was a total disappointment and I will not return, even though I'll be around until April or May.

Hands down the best Mexican food in the Tri-state. Whether you want traditional or something more unique and modern that Eduardo and Jasson have cooked up, they have it all. The California tacos that have just been added to the menu are messy deliciousness at its finest. If you want good food and great service this is the place to go. And oh yeah, their cocktail, tequila, and whiskey selections are top notch too.

I've eaten her twice and both being in the last month. The foods good and they really pack your quesadillas full. Their jalapenos are perfectly cut and still contain the seeds. Hate when anyone removes jalapeno seeds. I got bacon added to my quesadilla WHICH I DONT RECOMMEND DOING cause its a $4 charge to add like two slices of bacon. The quesadillas good enough and doesnt need it. I had the fries on my first visit and they tasted nice and fresh. The place is abit cramped especialy towards the back, I felt I was also at the table beside me. Also my table was right on the kitchen/bathroom path with a clearance of like four feet from table to wall. So annoying! My first visit the waiter was nice and friendly and kept our drinks the entire time. The second was Marcelino and he had abit of an attitude, mightve been an off day. Other than the crampness the foods good not near my favorite but good and still do recommend.
