When they first opened the food and service was fantastic, but unfortunately since then it seems to have just gone down hill. While I understand food costs have skyrocketed for restaurants over the last few years, they appear to have taken it a step further than most places. The steak was flavorless (except for the char) and full of fat and gristle. It was also nowhere near a 12 ounce steak. It had clearly been thrown on and pressed to try and cook it faster (which doesn't work, just burns it which is what it did.) It was, as another reviewer noted, paper thin. Definitely not what they advertise or use to have. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time it's been like this, it was just our opportunity to give them another shot. Third one in the past 6 months. The spinach and artichoke dip was maybe two ounces spread thinly over the dish to appear as if it were a full portion, but obviously wasn't. But loaded with the most salty chips I've ever had which were also stale. The Chicken Parm tasted as if they just took tomato paste and spooned on top and heated it up. It was such a weird consistency and taste that I doubt my dog would eat it. The only good thing we had was the salad. We went on a Saturday around 7:00 pm and they were very slow. That isn't a good sign. Our server clearly looked at our food and noticed it hadn't really been touched much and gave a very nervous look and just asked if we wanted a togo box. We didn't. I didn't say anything as the table behind us was having issues and it was clear the server nor manager were able to fix and were having to make phone calls plus, I knew it was going to be our last visit. Every other restaurant in town appeared to be very busy, even our server said it had been slow all evening. It's unfortunate, but clearly the owners/management have given up on this place and it's evident from the slow decline. Needless to say, for the prices they charge, we won't be returning when there are too many other places to choose from.

Hands-down, the worst meal I’ve ever paid over $200 for the shrimp was raw and I had to send it back. The steak was paper thin and was also raw, but I was afraid at that point to send it back. The service was lacking, but they did have a large group upstairs so that could explain it, but still not acceptable for a chef prepared meal I was pretty letdown and it comes highly recommended

Very disappointed. Ordered the fried chicken but was told they were out of mashed potatoes so that ruined 1st selection. Ordered 12oz ribeye. Well guess what? Server comes back and says they are out of the 12oz so that meal ruined. Asked for the grill burger with only cheese and bacon. It comes out with everything and over cooked. $200 bill you would expect more. Very disappointing as we were very excited to try this restaurant

slow service. 1.5 hours before we got our main dish. barely saw our server, or any server at all. steak was thin and not evenly cooked with one side being well done and one side medium rare. fondue was great though.

We were there celebrating my retirement. We were quickly seated and our waitress was quick and friendly and polite. We got our drinks quick and then ordered. Crab cake appetizer was good but I’m not a fan of
Crab cakes my husband ordered them. Spicy Bloody Mary for me perfect!! Husband had a beer. I had wedge salad and husband had garden salad both very good. Husband had ribeye and I had prime rib both were very good.. we had baked potatoes which were good but then I wished I would have ordered something different just to try something new. We were both stuffed but I had to have the Crème brûlée… yummy!! Husband has cheesecake very good too. He had Irish coffee and he loved it! Great experience!! We will be back to try new things!!
If planning on making a reservation make sure to make it an hour before you actually want to sit and eat (had reservations at 8 and was told wouldn’t be seated till 850 ish )

Was very excited to eat here for a nice evening with my wife after reading all the positive reviews. Arrived for our reservation on Valentine’s Day 2025 and had a short wait due to the busy night which is understandable. My issue starts after we were seated and watched those that were seated after us be served, orders taken, bread service brought, drinks served and overall well taken care of while my wife and I sat and were never acknowledged that we were there. We sat at a corner table for 23 mins and watched everyone around us be served and taken care of while we were never offered water or even a polite smile! Again those seated after us were already enjoying their drinks, appetizers, bread etc and we still have not been noticed. After attempting to wave a server down for some water or to place some kind of order we were still ignored. My wife and I left the establishment and told the staff to offer our table to someone else as we were leaving. So much for our excitement for a nice romantic dinner together. Reservations were made over a month in advance and agian my issue is not with the wait upon arriving but the fact that we were never approached after being seated. Very poor service and very poor organization of staff. Cant give a good review as I was never offered even a water or soda. Only nice thing to say is the facility does look nice inside. Don’t go here!

$120 for 16oz steak, 3 scallops and 2 crab cakes. WAY over priced for the quality. Had better steak at the Waffle House. Microwaved carrots and mushrooms. Steak was mostly gristle and fat. EXTREMELY TOUGH. Raw garlic in the mushrooms and nearly flavorless sauce with the crab cakes. Our waitress was great though. Have no problem paying $120 for good food, this just wasn’t good.

A tad cold for the frigid January outside weather made me quickly eat and get out. Otherwise, very good experience in my second visit to this place. Huntington needs good swanky places and this is a good step. The inside is nice, the outside may get missed for no special appearance. The food at my previous and current visit was excellent. The bread is tasty, and hot. The server kept up a humorous banter. This was a Friday night spur of the moment outing with the honey, and I drove 40 mins one way for a 30 mins meal. I wish there was something more, so we could make it worth the drive. Something like live music, or, something more romantic perhaps. It's not just the very young who crave that atmosphere. My steak was excellent. My wife wanted to taste a restaurant quality fried chicken unlike the fast food variety, and it did not disappoint. I was too full from 1/2 the 12 Oz steak, so guess what I am eating next day lunch. My friends say that the fish (both salmon & tuna) portions are small though (6 or 8 ozs for about the same price), which is partly why I went for the bigger steak. The sides portion was a little on the stingy side, but was good. The parking is tight as they share the space with Calamity J, a next door restaurant with perhaps the same owner. But street parking and side street parking is available. And you know how expensive Huntington parking is....a steep 25 cents per hour, on weekday, work time. And scandalously, free every evening after 6! The abomination! Go to the grill on the third. You'll like it. Turn the thermostat up please!

The food was terrific and the service was even better. Also totally forgot my receipt and came back and the manager was very nice and got me a copy of the receipt ASAP! I definitely will be going back the next time I am in Huntington, WV.
