Very unique place to grab a meal. Food was wonderful and the service was out of this world

This was the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. The view was amazing of the water. Everyone was so nice polite and kind. Very nice atmosphere. Great date night place!

Very nice place, clean, good service, food is very flavorful. Best Mexican food by far in the surrounding area! My girlfriend and I come at least once a week since we discovered this gem of a place!

My son and I stopped in here to eat an early dinner, and overall it was a mixed experience. The food was really good—definitely the highlight!

But don’t waste your money on the $16 margarita bucket. The way it's advertised in the menu is a little misleading. As you can see in the picture, it’s pretty small and honestly feels a bit overpriced for what you get. I also thought I could take the bucket home, but was told I couldn’t, which was surprising to me!

Service was just okay—nothing special. I’d go back for the food and the overall atmosphere of the patio area!

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! I’ve been coming here regularly for quite a while, and every visit is consistently amazing. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served perfectly. Whether I’m trying something new or ordering my usual favorite, I’m never disappointed.

A huge shoutout to the managers mario and olivia for doing such an incredible job. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and work hard to create a welcoming atmosphere. Their leadership shows in every aspect of the restaurant.

I also want to recognize my server, Savannah, who always provides outstanding service. She’s friendly, attentive, professional, and makes every dining experience enjoyable. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.

This restaurant has become one of my favorite places to eat, and there’s a reason I keep coming back. Great food, excellent management, and exceptional service make this place stand out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing Mexican restaurant experience!

This place is amazing. We were staying at cross lanes and came here. Our waiter Walter was amazing the drinks and food are amazing. We will be back for sure.

Cosmel On The River Bar & Grille is where it’s at! We had such a good time — great music, great vibe, and the river view just makes everything feel like a mini vacation. The food was delicious… like “don’t talk to me while I’m eating this” level good. And Savanna? She’s a whole vibe. Fun, fast, super friendly — she made our night! She checked on us, joked with us, and somehow kept everything running perfectly. We loved her. If you haven’t been here yet, go. And if you get Savanna as your waitress, you're in for a good time!

Cosmel On The River Bar & Grille might actually be my new happy place. Great view, great food, and zero stress — unless you count trying to pick what to order because everything sounds amazing. And Savanna? A QUEEN. An icon. A legend. She deserves her own billboard. She kept our drinks filled like she had psychic powers, cracked jokes with us, and somehow managed to be in three places at once. I’m convinced she runs on caffeine and pure magic. If you haven’t been here yet, go immediately. And if you’re lucky enough to get Savanna as your waitress, just know your night is about to be 10x better.

Food was rather bland and not very well priced. Heard a lot of hype about the place so stopped by while boating on the river but left less than impressed. The boat dock entry is a great idea but the food should be more up to snuff.

I'm a big fan of this location, especially when the weather is warm and you can sit out by the river.

The cocktails here are top notch and the menu has items you don't see at the other Cozumel locations.

I hope to get a few more visits in before the weather turns cold.

The last few times we’ve went to this location it’s been a let down. Last time was horrible in particular because we were seated, our waiter got our drink orders. Brought us our drinks and said he’d be back to take our food orders but never came back. Several other servers passed by us and ignored us as we tried to get their attention. We saw who was our original server, taking orders of new tables outside on the deck. We sat there for over an hour and then finally got someone’s attention (only because he made eye contact with us and felt that he had to come over) he asked if everything was okay and at that point we just wanted to leave so we asked for the check. He said he couldn’t do that so he got one of the hostesses, she then went and got who I assume was a manager. He checked us out without saying a word and handed the card reader to us then gave us a dirty look when we didn’t leave a tip. Definitely not leaving a tip when our server disappeared and nobody ever took our order after we had sat there for over an hour. Absolutely horrible service. It doesn’t matter if you’re busy, don’t treat your customers like they’re a nuisance for wanting to be served. Won’t be back.

Whether alone or with a group I always enjoy eating here. $2.50 Street Tacos during Taco Tuesday they have a delicious Ramen as well. I havent had anything yet that I wasn't happy with.
