Nice house turn restaurant. Great food and baked goods. The Easter cookies were awesome
Food was absolutely disgusting and awful. I’d rather eat cold McDonald’s food than eat here again.
I ate dinner here yesterday Turkey dinner it was awful more fat than turkey and instant mashed potatoes was supposed to have green beans and got broccoli I usually don't complain but I will never go back there
Came here on Saturday with my father and grandparents. Both my parents grew up in Keyser, WV. Their food is amazing as i remembered and it made me nostalgic!
Love it here!!
Waited 5 minutes in entry way to be seated….the waitress was very inattentive
The food was overpriced & lukewarm at best…..just a very unsatisfactory experience overall

Thank you Fred for taking care of customers with special dietary needs. Tonight our haddock stuffed with crab meat was delicious. Thank you!
Dietary restrictions: I have a wheat allergy & I've always asked if I can get a particular meal without wheat. Fred makes special accommodations which is so rare at any other restaurants!

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is always amazing and Fred and his staff are so personable. The restaurant is historic and tastefully renovated and decorated. My most recent visit included a beautiful charcuterie board and crab and shrimp bisque that was out of this world delicious. This is a great location if you need a small meeting room or a large room for a party. And DON’T leave without trying their famous cupcakes!!
It is too soon to leave another review, so I am updating this one to rave about the Bruce High School Class of 74 reunion held at Candlewyck Sept 14. Once again, Fred and his staff were AMAZING. Our milestone celebration totally rocked! The buffet was a choice of Beef Tips over noodles or Turkey dinner. Fred included menu options that we didn’t even ask for. ALL DELICIOUS! The desserts were beautifully displayed and enjoyed by all. The servers and bartender were attentive and made sure we had a great time. We will certainly be back for our 55th. THANKS, Fred!

This was our first time visiting the Candlewick, and it definitely won't be the last. This place has become our new favorite spot whenever we visit our grandson. Fred, the owner and manager, is one of the nicest people I've met in a while. The waitress was wonderful, and the food was absolutely amazing. I want to extend my gratitude to Fred for the fantastic lunch today.
