“ordered our first pizza. got wings and 2 pizzas, $32. felt the wings were small and didn't get many. flavor was good for spicy one. pizza was more like a medium sized but tasted good not greasy. ingredient amount was awesome. Will get again. loved how you express your love for God on box.”

“So we frequent this restaurant almost every trip to WV when we go riding. We showed up around 8pm on Friday evening and the food was great. Fast forward 24 hours Saturday evening the group we rode with wanted to eat Mexican for supper and they served us supper a group of 9 and food was served fast and delicious. Fast forward 27 hrs later Sunday night we rode in at 8:50pm been riding for 11 hrs only eating breakfast. We rode about 130 miles and had detours on the way back, severe weather, wind, rain, fallen trees and downed power lines. We all were exhausted and hungry, I walked to the door and ask if they were open, knowing the sign on the window says closed at 8:00pm. The lady ask how many in our group and I said 6. She said come on in and we took the chairs off the table because they had already cleaned up for the day and they were so friendly and knew what most of us wanted to drink and eat. I did try 3 different entrees and they all were amazing. I highly recommend Casa Familia serving staff and the cook(s). I’m sure they wanted to be going home to be with their families about the time we rolled in but they didn’t hesitate to say come on in. Definitely will be going back, it’s the people like this that make our trips to West Virginia so memorable and we love it so much. Thank you for your hospitality and also for the great food.”

“I had to conduct several business ventures that would take me to Welch WVa. I usually research the location so that I am knowledgeable of the establishments prior to going. I saw Rosco's Soul Food had strong positive reviews. Today, a colleague and I stopped in for lunch. The overall experience is reflected in my 5 star review. The place was small but inviting. It was very clean, and the aroma from the kitchen let you know what goodness your palette was about to partake in. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My brisket sandwich and side of mac and cheese was spot on delicious. My colleague, usually talkative was quiet the whole time he ate if that tells you something, lol. Before we left, Roscoe arrived with supplies for the business and we had a chance to talk. He was very down to earth and gave me his back story on how he started the business. Humble beginnings and a desire to succeed was his motivation to be successful. He also informed me about his new location in Tazwell. I highly recommend if your in either area to stop in and enjoy the menu. Rosco, I wish you much continued success!!”

“Manager at this location saved a young woman who had overdosed in their restroom, he went above and beyond his duties as a manager and became a hero, I hope this location recognizes what a great manager they have and how lucky they are he was there”

“Chicken Pot Pies are fantastic, hot, flavorful, and made to oder on time. During later evening hours, I recommend calling ahead for your favorite dishes. Pot Pies take 20 minutes to complete. Therefore, if you want them Hot-n-ready, call before you go. Fried chicken is juicy, mashed potatoes & gravy: my recommendations are to have gravy on the side, macaroni and cheese is a family favorite, green beans are too soft for my taste, corn is crisp (perhaps frozen upon cooking), and biscuits are light & fluffy. Regular staff is very kind, confident, polite, respectful, and maintains corporate integrity. However, upon corporate visits ( while I was passing thru drive thru), the staff seemed to walk on egg shells while corporate leaders were rolling their eyes at us customers in the background, making it very uncomfortable for us. Us locals keep this restaurant open, so why treat us so poorly. The regular staff are top-notch!”
