“My boyfriend and I were traveling on route 52 and happened to come across this restaurant. Made us feel very relaxed. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the pulled pork sandwich and let me tell you. We have never in our life's had the most perfect tasting pulled pork. I personally think they under charge for the quality of there food. “I've enjoyed Hunt Bros. for over 20 years. The slices are a great after work snack and on a "we just want the whole thing" night, one phone call is all. Our local Marathon ladies make them less than a mile from our house !”

“Manager at this location saved a young woman who had overdosed in their restroom, he went above and beyond his duties as a manager and became a hero, I hope this location recognizes what a great manager they have and how lucky they are he was there”

“Chicken Pot Pies are fantastic, hot, flavorful, and made to oder on time. During later evening hours, I recommend calling ahead for your favorite dishes. Pot Pies take 20 minutes to complete. Therefore, if you want them Hot-n-ready, call before you go. Fried chicken is juicy, mashed potatoes & gravy: my recommendations are to have gravy on the side, macaroni and cheese is a family favorite, green beans are too soft for my taste, corn is crisp (perhaps frozen upon cooking), and biscuits are light & fluffy. Regular staff is very kind, confident, polite, respectful, and maintains corporate integrity. However, upon corporate visits ( while I was passing thru drive thru), the staff seemed to walk on egg shells while corporate leaders were rolling their eyes at us customers in the background, making it very uncomfortable for us. Us locals keep this restaurant open, so why treat us so poorly. The regular staff are top-notch!”

“Had lunch there and it was phenomenal. They take great pride in their food and ensuring the customer is happy. Had severe mechanical issues later in the evening that happened to land me and two friends stranded. Jamie (one of the owners) recognized us from Lunch and immediately jumped on the phone to find us help. Between her and the patrons there that helped us out (Cody and Donald) we were able to get back to our rental place (45 minutes away) and got the parts we needed and back up and running. Anyways, best place, better people. Stop and help out their business and town. I'll be stopping there anytime I'm near it in the future.”

“First time in WV and wanted to have an authentic diner experience and The Owl did not disappoint. Upon entering, our group was greeted by not only the employees, but also the customers. Our waitress even addressed each of us as “Honey.” A fine meal at a fair price with never-ending welcoming and kind words from everyone present. Could not have asked for a better WV experience.”
