My wife and I stayed here recently. When you first walk in the door near the parking lot it is confusing as to where you go to check in. It appears like you are walking into a kitchen or employee entrance and just doesn’t seem welcoming.
We were then checked in by the owner who came off as stand-offish. The entire place had foul odor and the decor of the rooms seemed dated (and not in a historical way). Everything seemed to be relatively clean. Our room had an odd layout though, we couldn’t even get out of bed on the one side. We were also concerned about the security of the room as there was not a very secure lock on the door. Unfortunately we wouldn’t return to this inn.

Pros: Our waitress was so sweet. Very mature for only 17yrs old. Refills right away. Also the fries & the burger BUNS were good. (NOT BURGER, JUST THE BUN)CONS: Texas steak was GROSS!! taste like DIRTY SOCKS. So nasty! they wouldn't take the $19 off the bill bc they said food cost went up.Burger taste like a nasty save-alot frozen patty. Steak was so thin and well done when we ordered it medium. Quesadilla was burnt.(see pics)And no exaggeration the door where you entered was blocked with a bunch of large now do you remember this cats. We had to scurry them away to get in the doorOverall I wouldn't recommend this place

I recommended this, because the staff is kind, but I had a bad experience with todays lunch. I got the potato soup, and it didn’t look or smell like potatoes. When I tasted it, I instantly got a sour, bitter taste in my mouth. It tasted like there was either lots of lemon juice in it, or the milk/cream in it was expired. I was really looking forward to eating it, but I couldn’t get past the first bite. I’ve never had any potato soup taste like this like it in my life. The side salad also had some bad lettuce and veggies.

Wonderful staff. Delicious food. Comfortable setting. Unique historical structure. Had a nice dinner social here. The staff were great and the food was very delicious.

Salad bar is closed, still wearing masks and seemed like nobody was even working. Not giving them any business any time soon.
