Saw some dicey reviews and made me hesitant. After a recommendation from the server at Black Bistro Cafe, we tried it. We all enjoyed our food very much. Smothered pork chop, waygu burger, waygu meatloaf and smoked half chicken were all very good. The mushroom medley was a bit over seasoned but the other sides were all great. We will definitely return.
Meh. Skip the hush puppies; at 5 for $10, they were overcooked and dab of pimineto cheese hardly helped. $22 Waygu burger was flavorless; topping of whiskey braised onions was pointless (no flavor and tough). $28 Waygu meatloaf was obviously pre-made and fried to reheat, which overcooked it.
