We dined here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Was a wee bit disappointed with the dessert. I had the chocolate mouse that I thought was heavy and to thick. Our waiter was incredibly good, with a wonderful sense of humor and the fact that he looked like Hugh Grant didn’t hurt.

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner experience with the best waiter in a very long time. The food was amazing and also the dessert was delicious. Great atmosphere very quiet and the French cuisine and decorated very nice. Definitely recommend it and will be back again.

My girlfriends and I went to this place to have Brunch. It was my first time there and I absolutely recommend it. The plates are made with fresh ingredients and they personal is very kind.
Just to give you some heads up, if you want to do Brunch on Sundays you have to make reservations in advance. I don’t know if you have to make reservations for the rest of the week but for Brunch on Sunday you absolutely have to!
I’m definitely coming back ✅

Atmosphere and service: I popped into here on a busy Father's day brunch rush and they sat me at the bar with no wait. It atmosphere was chaotic and warm, giving that same family energy you see at big family gatherings, but with much better food and adorable French-niché decor. The bartender (I cannot for the life of me remember your name, but dear Lord you are cute) recommended the bellatini cocktail. It did not disappoint at all. With wait staff running back and forth from the kitchen, either singing beautifully (you know who you are. You are fabulous) or 86-ing the french bread basket and then the quiche, it was a delight to watch the owners and management hop in to help keep everything running smoothly and with a clear investment in providing top shelf service to us as customers.

The food was amazing. I helped myself to the an appetizer, smoked salmon and potato pave. Absolutely delightful and the perfect serving size for a single individual. I particularly liked the green sauce on the bottomBurger: super delicious. Creme brulee for desert was to die for. And I count myself among the top creme brulee snobs in the country.

Overall, I'd say if you're ever near Lewisburg, this is the place to eat!

French Goat - small fancy dining in Lewisburg. Limited menu for vegetarians. Limited value in general. Duck confit was fine though too salty. Bread was also salty.
Service is decent. Rather enthusiastic server in our case. Men’s toilet needed attention. Management could be proactive.
In summary a nice place with a few minor kinks.

After riding the Greenbrier trail for two days, we arrived hungry and much in need of an excellent dinner. The French Goat did not disappoint. From the owner to the server, the atmosphere was inviting and friendly. The food was exquisite with authentic French bread and butter, as well as onion soup.
I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough: you will not be disappointed.

The best restaurant in Lewisburg. For brunch, the grits are among the best I’ve ever eaten. Portions are generous. (I read a review saying the portions were small; small compared to what?) We were expecting smaller portions and ended up accidentally ordering too much food, which was a delicious problem to have. Butternut squash and tahini dip was perfect. Salad with goat cheese and cherries was perfect. Attentive, friendly, refined service, without being stuffy. Pretty interior and very nice outside patio. 10/10!

I had the duck breast special. It was absolutely phenomenal. It is very clear that the entire staff takes their job very seriously. I felt like I was in Europe with the decorations and great service. Will definitely be coming back!

In little old Lewisburg walk in to a Parisian cafe with welcoming hosts and unpretentious attitudes and incredible food and drink. In the coolest small town in America drop in and enjoy the comfort of an authentic french cafe.
