The Livery Tavern Reviews
Had the lamb chop dinner cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy. Drinks from the bar were very tasty and well made. Staff were attentive and friendly. Happy we stopped by as we were traveling through.
This is our favorite restaurant in town! Each time we come, the food is superb. Patty takes care of us each time and makes it a wonderful experience. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent place to eat. Great atmosphere and service. The food is outstanding. One of our gems in Lewisburg.
The Livery Tavern is a cozy restaurant that offers a delightful atmosphere and delicious cuisine. The owner warmly welcomes guests, while the chef, the owner's son, prepares mouthwatering dishes. The menu features standout items like the brussels sprouts side, smoked catfish pate, and prime rib. The drink options are fabulous, and the hostess team provides exceptional hospitality. The service is generally prompt and friendly, though there may be occasional variations in server attitude and pace. The beautiful decor creates a space where customers look forward to returning.
Customers praise the quality and presentation of the cuisine, with one raving about the trout with Parmesan and crab, sautéed spinach, and basmati rice, as well as the goat cheese ice cream with berries. Another customer highlights the "rare meal out where everything, from the sides to the dessert, was perfectly executed," including the "decadent" brownie with goat milk ice cream. The restaurant's locally-sourced ingredients and delightful ambiance, including the fireplace and rustic flourishes, have earned it high praise from diners.
