Reviews for Bob Evans

I?d leave a zero star if I could. We were told we couldn?t make a reservation. We arrived and waited 1 hour 15 min on a table. At 1 hour and 15 min a large group came in and were seated a head of us. Poor customer service before you even get seated.

I had the turkey and stuffing with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. It was simply delicious. I also came with cranberries which I totally love. However, these were the whole cranberries and didn't taste as good as the jellied cranberry sauce. Overall, it was a good meal and Brooke did an excellent job as our server.

I ordered the chopped steak with brown gravy, mashed potatoes & green beans. It was very good and hot. The green beans are my favorite. Rolls were fresh. Ordered the chicken salad with fruit to take home to my daughter. The fruit was overly ripe and mushy. Grapes were rotten. I've ordered it before and both times it was awful.

About Bob Evans

For breakfast, nothing beats Bob Evans Sausage Biscuits and Gravy, done in the true southern-style fashion. It's legendary stuff. Of course, so are the hotcakes. You might just need to order those too. From buttermilk to double chocolate, these hotcakes are the answer to your prayers. Big Farm Burgers and massive sandwiches like the Slow Roasted Pot Roast Sandwich are a perfect choice for lunch. Lighter appetites will love the selection of fresh-made soups and salads too. Dinner entrees are made from all the stuff of Southern dreams. It's down-home cooking that will have you leaving full and happy. Country Fried Steak, Chicken Pot Pie, and Fried Chicken to name a few are all prime choices. And if you really want to make the most of any entree, turn it into a 3-course meal with a choice of soup or salad and a dessert for only $2 more. Speaking of desserts, Bob Evans is famous for pies so don't miss out on a slice. Between all the fantastic food at such fair prices, you'll be back for seconds. And thirds. And many, many more visits to get your fix of Southern specialties.
