We can always count on excellent food and superb service at Guesthouse Lost River! The menu offers a variety of dishes that should satisfy most anyone's tastes or dietary restrictions. The desserts selection is quite broad and all of the choices are amazing!
This is my fourth time eating here. As always, service and food is outstanding! Everyone there is friendly and eager to please. It is amazingly beautiful inside and out! After dinner we enjoyed visiting Sancho, their friendly mule! Highly recommend, look forward to my next visit. BTW- the only reason I had noise level as moderate was because they were having a special event. Music was loud but we didn't mind.
Staff was pleasant and attentive but rather casually dressed. The Gluten-Free roll they offered was burned, dry, and day-old, but it was the only one left in the restaurant. But the butter was soft. I ate the center of it with the butter but was disappointed. The steak I ordered medium but came medium-rare (too rare for my liking). I shared it with my partner and just ate the medium parts around the edges myself. I was not particularly hungry. The mashed potatoes were ok but seemed uninspired, a bit firm and not hot; seem like they had be refrigerated and then warmed up but not well. They might have whipped them up a bit or something. The signature drink was sickeningly sweet and not palatable, not impressive and, in fact, kind of gross. The adjacent table was a crowd of eight intoxicated and noisy diners, one whose snoring could be heard over the music, which was at an ambient volume, as he passed out, seated, upright in his chair. The group simply ate around him and left him to his unconsciousness. My dining companion ordered the trout, which he shared in exchange for my steak. Not a good recipe whatever the sweet sauce was over the fish with the pomegranate seeds. Just a bad combination for fish. I tried two bites to make sure I was tasting what I was tasting. I regret dining there.
One of the nicest times we have had! Superbly prepared food, gracious and attentive service. The menu was creative and innovative. Great selection of local beer and cider, too.
As always, dinner was fantastic. We love that the menu features many local products and locally sourced food.
I have never had a bad meal at The Guesthouse! The food is always so good and the staff are just the sweetest. I also love the variety of entertainment on the weekends. There is always something to look forward to. My family and I will be long time guests and continue to bring our friends and family to enjoy all that The Guesthouse has to offer.
Some of the kindest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Well worth the hour drive to go to, a must for a sunset dinner
We had such a great evening! It is such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food was incredible, the service was top notch! Highly recommend a trip to this gorgeous venue!

Had an amazing stay here - the hosts were great and the restaurant, bar and rooms were all above expectations
This place is the BEST! I stayed for a long weekend this month and enjoyed every minute of it from my lovely Carriage House room (#1 has the best views!), the sauna and hot tub after hikes, delicious breakfasts and dinners (shout out to Tiffany!), and all of the cozy reading spots. I can't wait to come back during other seasons of the year and bring friends! Gary and Jesse have created a really special place and I'm so glad I discovered it.

This place has a great environment, excellent service and really tasty food.
Wow, just wow! I have only eaten at the restaurant. The food is top notch, I recommend going for dinner to fully experience their culinary expertise. I don’t have a favorite thing, the entire menu is 5 star. The ambiance…oh the ambiance! This might be the most aesthetically pleasing dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff is so friendly that I feel like a friend after one visit. I love the mixed drink specials, which are very well made. I recently learned of some live entertainment and am very excited to come back for that!!! Thank you Guesthouse team, you rock! See you soon.
Beautiful dining rooms, great menu, outstanding service. Several vegetarian options on the dinner menu.
We frequent the Guesthouse for dinner. Every dinner has been great! However, tonight's dinner was exceptional. Fresh ahi seared with sesame covering and spices was cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef!
Enjoyed a nice dinner at the Guesthouse. Beautiful surroundings and we loved the little pony in the field outside named Sancho! We arrived a bit early to have a drink at the bar and both the hosts and the bartender were very welcoming and personable. Dinner was good, wine and beverage list was nice and, overall, a good evening out.
