Guesthouse's all to offer is everything! The restaurant, in particular, was delicious: the ambiance, the cocktails, the apps and dinner, and the service. This place is one of our favorites when we visit the area. A gem in the woods, for sure!
While searching for a place to dine on a Saturday in the Winchester area, VA, The Guesthouse Lost River came up as a recommendation. It took us an hour+ to get to this unforgettably beautiful, clean, friendly hotel and restaurant in the mountains of WV. We walked into a stunning bar with a warm fireplace and excellent cocktail selection (we suggest you make dinner reservations and arrive early for a leisurely tour and a cocktail: I discovered Hawk Knob dry cider - try it to fall...
Wonderful meal in spectacular surroundings. We chose to dine at a table in the bar area for the ambiance. Cocktails were superb and so was the meal. My meatloaf was amazing. We will be back.
