Have never eaten there because we could not get waited on. Tried to eat 3 times, but couldn't get waited on. The last time, there were 3 of the. chatting at counter and they just ignored us. Never again.

Had dinner last night and came back for breakfast this morning! Everything was delicious! I complimented the cook from last night to my server this morning and it turns out he was the cook last night!

Went in for a quick bite and drinks. Didn't disappoint! Friendly and total WV.

Got the bavarian pretzels and WV Special. It's a LOT of food, and it's all very good. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food and conversation. The setting is also absolutely gorgeous, and there are even ducks outside you can buy a bag of corn to feed them with!

Lunch here was fantastic! Service was great! Was nice to look out on the river while eating then feed the ducks after. Very quaint little town too!

One and done. Burger was overcooked. Chili had the consistency of stew meat. Fried pickles, outdoor seating and beer were the highlight of the meal.

I always eat here when I’m in the Marlinton area. The outdoor seating overlooking the river is beautiful! The food is usually delicious (especially the West Virginia skillet). The reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because they tend to be slow (likely understaffed), and some items are priced higher than I would consider fair. At least there are plenty of ducks you can feed and be entertained by you while you wait. Otherwise, I love it here and will continue to come back.

Stopped at this lovely restaurant for breakfast. The all-wood aesthetic of the lodge fitted perfectly with the Marlinton Motel we've just stayed at, and the nice and hearthy breakfast we enjoyed looking at the ducks in the river bellow was a great way to start the day! Would definitely recommend leaving a dollar to get a bag of corn to feed the duckies once you're done!

Just don’t go there. Food was horrible. I ate my plate because I was starving but my wife and daughter couldn’t do it. Like a lot of others on here I was recommended here by a local but that was an absolute one and done.

Great view, but all the tables were dirty we waited 45-55 min for our food...that was oddly overcooked and not. They didn't have burgers or half of their apps. I can understand food taking 45 min if all the tables were full...but they weren't...just dirty. We were recommended this restaurant by a local and I wouldn't recommend it to someone else.

Stopped for lunch. Food was mid. We had black and blu burgers. Burgers were dwarfed by the bun. Maybe 1/4 lb at best. Burger had no flavor or seasoning and the cheese was scarce bc of the size of the bun. For 9.50 I wanted a big & juicy mom and pops burger. Plus we added fries $2 and onion rings $3 and 2 drinks. Bill was over $30 with tip. If you want a burger go to DQ. 5/10. Won’t go back

Food and drinks: Probably hit or miss. We came on a mission day.

We have stopped to eat at this restaurant over the years. Always good food and service in the past. When we sat down the waitress told all the things they were out of. Well we just wanted dessert. Lucky for us 1 piece of cheesecake and 1 piece of pie were left. She served us but never gave us napkins. We finished and waited for the check. At this time another couple was standing near the register. They stood there for over 5 minutes. I got up and walked to the back where the kitchen was. I was yelling hello to get someone's attention but the radio was set pretty loud. Finally got the attention of the staff and our waitress came out. Apparently the staff were outside. Hate to say it but we won’t be stopping here anymore.
