Husband and I were visiting Snowshoe resort for my birthday. We decided to stop by this bar and were pleasantly surprised. The owner introduced himself to us and was super friendly and so much fun. There was karaoke and everyone was so friendly ! We had around 6/7 beers between the two of us as well as food from Alfredo’s and the prices were so good! Wish we lived closer otherwise we would be regulars!

If you are planning your trip on getting into town and going here, DON’T!! Advertised closing is 10:00 pm. I rolled into town at 7:30, dropped my bags and headed to the tavern, only to find the doors locked before 8:00. Caught the bar tenders leaving out the back and called them out. They sheepishly made excuses. Bad business practice

Had an absolute blast here for my best friends bachelorette party!!!! Very welcoming, friendly staff and the atmosphere keeps you smiling. Definitely will be back!!!! The bar owner definitely kept it interesting and made sure you were happy❤️❤️❤️
St Paddy's day party. Had a great time! Good drinks, cool atmosphere, & wicked good staff. Very personable! Full bar and the servers still found time to socialize and keep customers engaged. On a scale of 1-10, Old Mountain Tavern is an 11 all day.
Parking: Parking available on both sides of the street, and it's the only thing open. Free parking galore.

Traveled into town for a night and I stopped in the Tavern for a bit and the owners are absolutely AMAZING!!! Their establishment is clean and the environment is so cozy!!!
