Great vibe ... sandwiches to go for the Greenbrier River Trail and delicious coffee at the end of the day. Comfortable inside ... a couple of sidewalk tables too. Thanks for serving!

This is a destination spot for sure.
They have lots of high quality selections and the fella that runs the place prides himself on that, big time.
They just won people's choice award for their salsa in a salsa competition nearby in Snowshoe, WV!
People's votes matter more than judges votes. Think, figure skating for example. šŸ™ƒ

An interesting building that's been repurposed with a coffee shop and stage in the first floor and shops on top, definitely worth a visit

Lovely third space in Marlinton with delicious eats, good coffee, and a great space. Go when the shops upstairs are open and enjoy local artisan creations!

Lovely little cafe. Coffee is excellent, but the croissants are to die for. People are friendly and the place has a cozy vibe. Highlight of our trip food wise. Coffee prices are quite reasonable so we’ve been a few times this week.

Don’t bother.

The guy running the place was kind of creepy. I asked if there was an option for a beef burger because the menu is very limited, and he like pointed at me and said ā€œHell no!ā€ So I got the chicken salad sandwich (which was dry but overall alright) and the only option for a side was stale, lightly salted popcorn. I got a water to be safe, and it was tap water with no ice that I had to serve myself. My friend got some type of Italian root beer and it tasted like brown seltzer that smelled like root beer. I really don’t understand how this place stays open. We should have asked for our money back but he seemed like the kind of guy who would get ugly if confronted, so we just ate our sandwiches and left. The free library and board games were nice though. I’d imagine the nightlife there is pretty cool.

Rivertown is our absolute favorite cafe! They make the best dirty chai, especially with almond milk! Their cookies are made in-house and put Starbucks to shame (seriously SO good), and the food is both delicious and one of the healthiest options in our small town. The owner, Aaron, is always cheerful and full of good energy, it’s nearly impossible to leave without a smile. We also love that they support local farms and buy our free-range eggs. Can’t recommend this gem enough!

My dad used to bring me here when it was CJ Richards. What a cool experience to bring my daughter. The chicken salad I had was delicious! Loved the lavender lemonade!

Rivertown CafĆ© is truly a hidden gem you don’t want to miss! If you drive past it, turn around and go back!

Located downstairs beneath charming artisan shops, this cozy coffee/food spot is everything you hope to stumble upon in a small town. Warm, welcoming, and filled with heart and history. You won’t find a more affordable, hospitable, or atmospheric cafĆ© anywhere else. The vibes are absolutely unmatched; a perfect mix of comfort, creativity, and community.

The historic character of the building adds a special kind of magic to the experience, and the people here are just as memorable!

Small menu but they put their hearts into it. My wife had waffles and I had a bratwurst sandwich. The food was an A+ as well as the service.
