Decided to try this restaurant instead of going to Greenbrier grill, which we had already been to. At first, the only patrons were my friend group and myself. Two or three locals came in while we were eating. We went for the breakfast buffet without asking how much it was. They had bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, cafeteria quality eggs, and homestyle fries that had no crispness. It seemed like a free Continental breakfast at a hotel. The wait staff was friendly and made sure to ask if we needed anything occasionally. I was shocked when I went to the counter and my total was $16 with no drink.
Food was cold, they used powdered eggs, and was way overpriced. $15 for food you can get from a dollar store.
If you from a place that doesn’t serve country fried steak with white gravy - this places reminded me of moms home cooking, good breakfast
Best restaurant in town if you have kids. They have so many toys to entertain them. Great breakfast all day.
We had breakfast there on 11/3/2022. The sausage gravy & biscuits were excellent. The restaurant is very clean. If I ever visit Marlinton again I will eat here.
Delicious hot breakfast. This is where the locals eat. Shelly our waitress was busy but amazing. Highly recommend.
Biscuits were light and fluffy. Enjoyed the country fried steak.Service was good and friendly
Cold food, waitress was unpleasant. I won’t be back. I wouldn’t recommend this diner to anyone.
I wish I could give ZERO stars. My family and I had an unbelievably awful experience. We ordered our food; 2 breakfast entree's. They were out of biscuits, and the waitress's comment, "you came in a little too late", yet on their menu they claim to serve breakfast all day? So we end up getting an additional entree, and have to tell her we didn't order the extra one AND most of the food came out cold. Cold over easy eggs, cold bacon, cold hash browns. We were met with rolled eyes and an attitude. She took the cold plate, and brought it back a minute later, clearly just thrown in the microwave. GROSS! She never bothered to care if we had what we needed. She rolled her eyes yet again when I asked nicely, a second time for another cup of coffee. Oh and we never did get the toast on either of our plates. This establishment should close down. If you can't be nice to your customers, or even cook to order at a diner then you shouldn't be open for business.
Wonderful breakfast, best biscuits ever! Great fast service!

2 blah cheeseburgers, 1 fries, 1 appetizer, 1 Pepsi, 36.50!! This is why diners go broke.
The restaurant seemed clean. Waitress was nice and my meal was hot. I ordered a bacon cheese burger but it arrived with no bacon. Meal was $14 for burger, fries and tea. Thought that was pricey for what I got. Nothing special about a small frozen beef patty, shoestring fries. Would I return? Probably not.
As of 6/24/22 they’re open 8 to 8 Tuesday to Saturday. 8 to 2 on Sunday. Closed Monday.Excellent food, especially for addressing a moonshine hangover.
Food was cold. Took 40 minutes to get some of the food. Asked for syrup for pancakes didn’t get it and my daughter still hasn’t gotten her pancakes
My wife, me, and 2 grandchildren had breakfast on Saturday March 5 th and weren't disappointed. The diner lived up to it's great reviews. It was a fabulous breakfast.
