So many reasons to love the Hillsboro Public House! The service and atmosphere are charming and the food is exceptional. While the menu is rooted in comfort/diner food, every dish is elevated with culinary flair, with many locally sourced and homemade items. The burger is one of the best I've had in the region. Overall, you can just tell pride and care go into every offering.

Not many options in Hillsboro but they had good food. The building is nice as it looked to be an old bookstore and the service was good.

I traveled all over the western half of West Virginia, passively looking for good food while I did so. Rarely did I find it. I finally made my way to the Hillsboro area and found the best food I've had in 3 days. Staff was exceptionally friendly. There was a long wait for food(45+ minutes), but they are a small business, so we give them a break. Please stop by this place if you have any regard for your palate at all, and have a phenomenal Hawk Knob cider while you wait.

Amazing food. Have come for dinner and brunch, both equally delicious. The service is always great. We came when they had live music which was a treat and on a quieter evening which was nice too. I always enjoy checking out the art they have. Much of it for sale.

This is a great place! Such fine craftsmanship in the building that you don't see much of anymore. There is art on display and for sale. A feast for the eyes and the belly. We went for breakfast and the food was fantastic.

the Garlic alfredo has hardly any garlic in it and many of the options weren't exactly full of flavor, it is a beautiful atmosphere and a nice restaurant, decent prices and good selections
