I visited this restaurant for lunch today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was! I got 1/4 dark chicken meal with yucca and yellow rice and it came with corn bread. The chicken was tender with a rich garlicky flavor, and I really enjoyed dipping it in the sauces. I just keep going back! Ribs are tender and flavorful, perfectly cooked and fall off the bone. The seasoning is spot-on, enhancing the natural flavor without overpowering it.
Chicken is Juicy and well-marinated, the chicken complements the ribs beautifully. Each bite is packed with flavor. The sides are a highlight, offering a delicious variety that pairs well with the main dishes. Whether it’s coleslaw, cornbread, or fried plantains, each option is thoughtfully prepared....

Whatever they have recently changed, they should definitely keep that up! The food has gotten a lot better! We’ve always enjoyed this place. They’re our go-to when I can’t cook dinner myself for us to sit down and eat and they’re so close to our home. They’re always friendly and inviting. But yeah, lately the food has gotten way better!!! (Didn’t have complaints before though!)
