My first time having Momma Boyd's and it was pretty good. Also thanks to the women that commented about the BLTs they listened and there was plenty of bacon on mine!! 😄😁😂
In the evening it changes it's name to Sorettos and becomes a speakeasy. Simple but lovely food. I had the burger and my wife the chicken sandwich. They were both very good. The atmosphere and music were both excellent and the staff lovely. Just a nice place to have a bite to eat and pass some time. We would happily return. I gather the menu will be greatly expanded in 2 weeks time. Loved everything about it.
I've enjoyed my experience at Mama Boyd's on Warm Springs Ave and had high hopes for the downtown venue. Sadly, the food was disappointing. I ordered the Swiss and mushroom smash burger and basket of onions rings. The burger was not smashed, the mushrooms tasted like they were warmed from the can, no lettuce or tomato, and the bun was cold as if it had been in the refrigerator. The onion rings came in a basket but we're far from a basket of rings - more like a side...
