“I was in group of eleven who had lunch at CW today, along with one or two groups of six or more and almost every other table being occupied. There was only one lady serving. However, she was also seating diners, clearing tables, and working as the cashier, being welcoming, polite, and unflustered as she worked. I was truly awed by her multitasking skills. On top of that, the food arrived reasonably quick, the orders were almost 100% correct, and the food was very well prepared, tasty, and attractively presented. I certainly recommend Crosswinds Cafe for lunch.“

“Good morning. My wife and I visited the Spring Mills location yesterday.

The food was actually very good and the service was excellent. The cocktails were well made and the menu had a good variety of options. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

One small detail stood out, though, and it’s really about attention to presentation. I noticed the restaurant uses nice quality paper napkins, which was a pleasant touch, but the silverware didn’t match the overall quality of the dining experience.

Considering the menu prices ($18–$35 per entrée) and the quality of the food and service, I expected sturdier and better-maintained utensils. The fork at my table was extremely thin, scratched up, and looked worn to the point that I couldn’t tell if it was clean or just heavily marked. It simply didn’t match the otherwise good experience.

This is a minor detail, but small things like that can affect the overall impression of an otherwise very good restaurant. With the quality of food and service you’re offering, upgrading the silverware would help the dining experience feel more consistent with the rest of the presentation

“The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the food was good, never ending in fact... I got never ending soup, salad, and bread sticks. The bread sticks were brought out quickly and hot from the oven, salad was next with all the fixings including fresh ground cheese... and finally the minestrone soup was so full of veggies it almost wasn't soup. Either way the food was great, and my cup was never empty. The price was more than fair, only thing I missed was the after dinner mint but all in all a good experience.“

“Finally made it over to this very tasty place for a Sunday afternoon away from the farm to run some errands too. The amount of variety of food is wonderful. Salad, pasta, veggies like green beans and squash as well as the fresh pizza and the dessert apple pizza as well as pudding on the bar too. We enjoyed the fresh very tasty pizza. I loved the squash/zucchini mixture on the buffet it was a nice option in the middle of January. Definitely will be back! For $12.49 per person it was definitely worth the money.
