Recently stayed in Deluxe Tent 03 and we had a blast! Amazing staff. I absolutely love this resort!

Very nice campsite! Clean. Great trails. Only issue was we had a power outage for 24 hours over July 4th weekend. It was 90 degrees both days. The power went out 15 minutes after we arrived. Management did not offer anything to campers as we paid for power. It would have been nice if they discounted us a bit but we got charged full price. We had to go buy a generator because we didn’t know if the power would be fixed before we left. So spent extra money on generator plus fueling the generator. It was not just about A/C either. No refrigerator and no lights. Granted it was not their fault but as a business you should at least do something for your customers since we paid for a Deluxe Site with power. We were told by locals that power outages happen often. Maybe they need to have a back up plan in place for any future outages.

Great place and people spent last week enjoying the trails and history of the area and look forward to going back. Would highly recommend Devil’s Backbone adventure resort trip 59 is accessible from the cabin area that and trail 59 gives access to many other trails.

Great place to stay! Everything you need is close by. The cabin was very clean and we had a great view from our porch!

This is probably the best resort we have been too! When I tell you they thought of everything, they really did. We rented the two room cabins. Comes with TWO bathrooms with two showers which normally most cabins only have one so that was nice. They provided soap, plates, utensils, and towels. Now if you also forgot something they probably have it at the office! I’m talking everything! It is going to be difficult to top this place. Highly recommend to someone who has been riding in WV for 4 years plus.

We really loved this resort and will definitely book again! The grounds were very clean and accommodating. The general store was a lifesaver with snacks, supplies, and essentials. Our cabin was very clean, very comfortable, and included everything we needed for a 1 week stay! We loved having a full kitchen! The views were great! Our private hot tub was clean and ready for us when we arrived! Clean and well marked roads within the resort leading to trails and towns! A beautiful local mountain goat we could go visit with! I could go on about all the great things about this resort! A+ 5 star from us! Thanks again! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We only just left but can’t wait for when we will be back (not if). The location is perfect, the accommodations were clean and as depicted. The perfect location for ATV lovers

Nearby activities: Right on the Hatfield McCoy trail and close enough to Matewan to ride into town for stores and restaurants.

Second time we stayed here and loved it. Right off the trail and close to towns if needed. Tipple tavern has great drinks. We had a great time with family and friends there!

Great place can grab multiple trail heada from this location. Fit my motorhome and large trailer no issues!

We had an amazing time!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. With the exception of extremely warm weather and too many bees everywhere..We still had a great time on the trails, can't wait for our next visit here.
