Stayed here in town for our 3rd trip to the Hatfield McCoy Trails after finding ourselves in Matewan for food on previous trips. Ample gravel parking lot out back between the one-way street leaving town and the flood wall of the Tug River/walking path. No need to unhitch the rig, since there are several places to eat in town, including the owner’s place next door (Wingo’s). A great spot tucked away off the Hatfield McCoy trail system. We went on a day that power was out in town and they had a prefix menu of hot food to choose from that they had prepped in advance! I had vegetable soup and a grilled cheese while my husband had a hotdog. Best lunch by kerosene lamp I've ever had. Would 100% recommend!

There were a lot of great things about this property - Location was perfect for what we needed Price was extremely reasonable The host was amazing, Kathy was above and beyond helpful and friendly The patio out back was great for hanging out and enjoying a glass of wine (BYO) Wingo's next door (same owner) has good food and a fantastic staff Mini fridge and microwave, hot showers A few FYIs if you're thinking about coming - The walls are VERY thin.
