“There were a lot of great things about this property - Location was perfect for what we needed Price was extremely reasonable The host was amazing, Kathy was above and beyond helpful and friendly The patio out back was great for hanging out and enjoying a glass of wine (BYO) Wingo's next door (same owner) has good food and a fantastic staff Mini fridge and microwave, hot showers A few FYIs if you're thinking about coming - The walls are VERY thin. We heard every word from everyone else in the place, and ATV-ers are early morning people. Lots of loud 5:30am conversation each morning. It's pretty no-frills. Bring your own hair dryer, coffee cup (styrofoam is provided), etc. Not a problem, just something to know for next time. Our room had 5 twin beds in it plus a separate sitting area with a sofa/chair/tv. This would be the perfect place to stay if you're coming to the area to hit the ATV trails with your friends.“
“Stopped here to eat lunch and explore the historic town of Matewan. This restaurant had a variety of memorabilia surrounding the Hatfield/McCoy history. They also smoked their own pulled pork and served it with your choice of their homemade sauces! It was amazing! The service and food were excellent!“
“Great place to stay! Very conveniently located with direct entrance into the trail system. Several different lodging options-primitive tent camping, RV hookups and cabins of many different sizes and amenities. They can handle small and LARGE groups alike. On-site fuel pumps, general store (trail permits, souvenirs and supplies), a tavern/restaurant and swimming pool. Can’t wait to go back again!“
“The building as absolutely gorgeous and feels like home, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful with the menu, the food was some of the best I've eaten in our area. Wished I hadn't waited so long to come and definitely won't wait so long to come back.“
“Very nice service, these are good people, you can definitely tell there is a personal touch to everything you order from them, and the food is simple and delicious. A wonderful place to get all of your favorite classics, and comfort foods. My kids LOVE it! Definitely my first go to on a busy day. Fast, delicious, and welcoming. Exactly what you want when you are trying to enjoy a meal with family and you are always on the go.And they have the simplest and best pizza, I have had since I was a kid myself.Parking: They definitely could fill a larger parking lot, and diner but then it wouldn't have the same atmosphere. But it has enough parking for the size of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Its a very good environment for kids. They are family operated, so it is a great family friendly environment.“

“We were camping in the area to ride the trails. On our first day of riding we were too tired to think about cooking and went here for dinner. We had the bison burger and the catfish. Both were delicious! We loved it so much here we went back 2 more times during the week! Everything we had was great! Oh, and I almost forgot the mention the Side Winder Fries! YUM!!“
