I was so excited when this place was coming in! Finally some soul food. The staff were all very friendly. All was well until I tasted my food. The bbq is very good but the sides are terrible! Bland, tasteless, and I felt like I was eating out of a can. I hope they make their sides better and I’ll be back!

Ordered 50 boneless wings, $64, and they were horrible. Honestly just threw away they were so bad. Tough, not really breaded, cubes or something not sure was even chicken

First time ordering. Got some wings and the homemade chips. Was great. Never ate the Buddy’s in Huntington to know what to expect. But it was very good. Worth every penny.

Once again Buddy's doesn't disappoint! I frequent the downtown Huntington location and today I discovered there was a Milton location. The food was just as amazing at this location and the service was great. I recommend Buddy's at either location. A+

I grew up in KY, and BBQ was a staple of my childhood. From firsthand experience, this is some of the best quality smoked meat you can buy. The price is on par with any other in-house BBQ joint, and it’s actually a little cheaper than some of the bigger ones. It can be a little pricy, but that’s BBQ, baby. It ain’t cheap to eat slow smoked pork and brisket. Hours and hours of preparation on a smoker before it ever reaches the kitchen. Don’t let all the naysayers stop you from experiencing something amazing! I recommend the brisket, and pulled pork platter with sweet potato fries (with brown sugar) and the bacon cheese fries for sides. Make sure to eat in house so you can get your hands on the house made BBQ!

Highly recommend! Great staff that don’t act like robots. They like joking with you, and they truly capture the feel of a down home BBQ joint. They seem genuinely happy to be a part of this company, and community- and that is extremely rare. To anybody reading this, give it a chance. Its fantastic.

I was surprised at how busy this place was for lunch, lots of people come and take to go or do the drive through. The pork BBQ sandwich was stuffed with meat. The pork Mac n cheese - I liked it but the kids didn't like it as much because the pork was already pre-sauced (but now I know for future). Their fries are fun shaped and crispy. What I didn't like was the Cole sale/potato salad because they are sweet. Other than that, it was a nice gem to find!

Parking: You have to walk through the drive through lane to get inside restaurant

I couldn’t even stab my fork into the ribs they were so tough, the garlic bread was hard as a rock, pulled pork was ok, pulled chicken god awful, the fries were the only good thing, I will never be back, neither one of us ate more than a couple bites, what a waste of $50.

After 3 visits I’m done giving the benefit of the doubt with this place. Each and every time the food is either burnt, comes out wrong, or barely safely cooked. For the prices they charged it is not worth the quality of food. And I wish it was as I love supporting local businesses which is why I gave them 3 tries. I genuinely wish this wasn’t the case and if there are changes made in the future I’d be glad to try them again.

From the time it first opened the Milton location, prices were great when compared to the portions received. Now the portion sizes in my opinion have decreased about 40%. Love the food, but if I am paying $20+ dollars for a meal, I want a proportional value. I'll only give them 1 or 2 more chances.

Where's that beautifully delicious wood smoked bark & flavor? The food is ok but I'm missing the smoke in all the meats & the seasoning seems light. Gotta kick it up a notch.

We love Buddys Barb Q. We always get brisket, which is much harder to do well, than just pulled pork. They do it very well! I always get poundage to go?
