I attended a wedding my daughter was a bridesmaid in last weekend and I cannot say enough great things about the venue, the service, the delicious food and cake, and the attention to detail!

We hosted our daughters wedding there May 7, 2022 couldn’t of asked for better service, attention, everything was on point, everything my daughter had asked for wanted was completely done. They furnished the cake which was delicious , the dinner was fabulous, everything was beautiful, I can’t say enough about the whole event. Shout out to the staff! Angie Odell thank you!

Paid a total of 175.00 for the Mother’s Day brunch. Had reservations for 1:30, didn’t get seated till 2. Staff kept saying they are short. I am currently sitting waiting because there are no plates, no desserts and dirty plates are stacked on our table. For the price of 175.00 you would think the Venetian would at least attempt to make this experience a decent one. Several people are complaining about how unorganized this whole event is. Come on Venetian!!! For the prices you charged you should be giving deep discounts to all us patrons that paid and attended this less than mediocre event! Horrible.

Great staff, reasonable service, but it was a little slow. My girlfriend and I both ordered filets. She got a filet and I got a sirloin that was called a filet because I was told they were out of sirloins and it was impossible that I did not get a filet mignon as ordered. That said, I know my cuts of meat. I ordered mine medium well and she ordered hers medium. Both arrived well done. They were still quite tasty, but not what was ordered. The cook needs to learn how to cook meat. At the prices charged, the meat should be cooked as it is ordered. Period. The weak link in this equation is who ever cooked the steaks and did not know the difference between a filet and a sirloin, much less well done versus medium well versus medium. There is an art to cooking. The cook at The Venetian needs to learn that art. I will try this place one more time. If they can deliver as advertised, I will give five stars and be there all of the time and bring friends. It actually is a nice place. The cook needs to learn how to cook meat. If that does not happen, then I will drop to one star and flag everyone I know off. Details matter. Especially at those prices. It is a great place. It has great ambiance. They simply need to learn how to cook meat. Josh, I hope you have read this, and follow up with your staff. This place has truly amazing potential, but only if you pursue details.

We enjoyed such a lovely New Year’s Eve dinner with three other couples last night in the restaurant. The house was decorated beautifully, the food was good, and service was efficient and pleasant. Well done!

The Pub is an awesome atmosphere. The service is extremely slow. The food is cold. The well drinks lack liquor.

My wife and I enjoyed an evening of fine dining in a wonderful environment at this Milton, WV gem. The new name is The Venetian Estate and they have both a restaurant and pub. The restaurant is located in the old mansion that was constructed in 1923. For appetizers we had the crab cakes and sweet bacon brussels and the Mrs had the french onion soup. For our entrees I chose a 16 Oz Ribeye and she elected the Sweet Smothered Chicken. Sides chosen were baked potato and southern green beans and steamed broccoli. To be totally honest EVERY single food selection was delicious and served piping hot. Our only criticism was an excessive amount of time elapsed between serving the appetizers and the arrival of the entrees…an estimated 45 minutes. My assumption is the order ticket was misplaced by the wait/kitchen staff. All is forgiven as the food was so delicious and the waitress was very attentive. We had the house Cab (Canyon Road) which was superb. Amazingly our bill was under $90…so we’ll done Venetian Estate. We WILL be back!

I really wanted to like this place. we visited last year for my mom's birthday and had a terrible experience- both food and service. I thought I'd give it anther shot since everyone talks about how great it is. I thought maybe we just caught them on a bad day....

Last weekend we had the pleasure of celebrating my niece’s wedding at The Venetian. As her coordinator, I worked closely with Valerie Huffman, Director of Sales and Marketing. She is knowledgeable, talented, kind, and classy which makes her the perfect fit for the venue. I could write pages about our positive experience, but I will try to keep it brief. During the planning meetings, our ideas were accepted and enhanced. The elegance of the rehearsal dinner in the garden area was beyond our expectations. The stunning floral arrangements (including bouquets) created by Valerie were exactly what we wanted. Additionally, the organization of every aspect of the wedding ceremony and reception was excellent. The property is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the employees are friendly, helpful, and professional (an extra shoutout to Kayla Scott). As a perfectionist, I can say this experience was wedding perfection, and it will always be a treasured memory for our family.
