Almost Heaven Desserts & Coffee Shop

Was craving a milkshake so went through the drive thru here because there weren’t any other customers in the drive thru or inside so I thought I would be super quick. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come to the window and 10 more minutes for me to get my order even though when I arrived I was the only customer there. I don’t know if they are understaffed but I thought it kind of took a long time but the milkshake was great.

This morning, I arrived to the drive thru lane around 6:57. I tried to order a chai latte but was having a hard time finding it on the kiosk. It wasn’t under coffee and tea. So when I was having issues I decide to drive around to the front of the storeTo my discovery, the coffee shop wasn’t even open! The hours on the door say open 6am Friday, and the shop wasn’t opened. I was disappointed as I was hoping to get a breakfast sandwich as well and because I was now running late for work I had to settle for Burger King :(. If there is issues with opening the coffee shop on time, it should be posted to social media. I did not see any notice about the shop being closed this morning. Things happen but it’s good to be informed when things change..

Went here with a friend yesterday( 1st time visit) as we like to try the different coffee/ tea shops in our area.
At first glance it is a cute place.They have the usual: coffees,baked goods,and light food items.
PROS: Quiet atmosphere, baked goods and desserts are delicious,bathrooms are clean
CONS: Tables were dirty/sticky,floors needed swept badly,need more help and staff needs to be way more knowledgeable/trained.
I asked for a hot Carmel macchiato and the young girl( who was super slow and by herself at the time )asked me if I wanted it cold instead cause she would need to wash the milk device. I told her no that I would wait...I don't care for iced coffee.
When I finally got my coffee it was barely warm. So I took it back up to have it remade.This time another girl came out and made it and it was hot which was good but the cup was barely over half
full( see pic). Would I stop here to get a bakery item in the future? Possibly. But I'll definitely get my coffee elsewhere.

Nice little coffee and dessert shop. Cheesecakes & carrot cake are great. Large Cookies are good as well. Service is a bit rough, as they have struggled multiple times to get my order correct, however everything there seems to be worth trying. Skip the online ordering as doesn't seem to work.

The wait was rather long for a milkshake and tea. The milkshake was a bit watery and not the best I’ve had; however, the atmosphere was nice, and the staff were friendly.

This was a cute place. There were 2 girls working. It took a long time before anyone acknowledged me which was a little odd. Once she did she was kind and the food was great-gluten free options for food and dessert for the win!

First time trying this place. I ordered the brown butter latte and whipped ricotta bagel. There are chunks, of what I can only assume is butter, floating around in the drink. Like big chunks. The bagel was supposed to come with seasoned ricotta, red pepper flakes, and honey drizzle. Mine came with just ricotta, nothing else lol. For the amount of time I spent waiting in the drive through, I expected my order to at least be decent. Pretty disappointing, I wanted to like this place!! It’s super cute on the outside.

Hospital Coffee..with a twist! And the twist is that you are charged 3 whole dollars for this nonsense-. I watched the girl look at the paper and then expertly make my Americano by getting a cup and putting regular coffee in it. She then puts the name on it, looks at it, eyes wide, looks at her colleague like “how do I say this name don’t make me say this name” and her colleague looks at her like ‘she’s right there don’t make me say it either’ - so I get the coffee, and on a scale of hospital coffee to hearing colors this was a 2 after 2 Splenda and some cream. Like come on people- I am tired of walking into a place only to learn it’s just a bunch of content creators playing pretend. Just do the job description. I left my house for this?? Getting side eyes from little girls (and watching them treat other clients like this!) who work at a coffee shop who either can’t read orders, can’t make coffee, or both, but either way- if you want hospital coffee and want to feel like the kid no one picks in gym class-Go there. Almost heaven? Girl- not even close

I grabbed a lunch at Almost Heaven last week. I've given this place several tries, and I'm just not sure I should go back. The food and pastries are excellent, but the coffee and service is pretty consistently subpar. My wife and I both think the coffee doesn't have much flavor, and it's been that way every time. Seems like a latte just tastes like hot milk with very little coffee flavor. During my trip last week I had to ask twice (after ordering) for my coffee and waited at least 45 minutes to get it. My food came alot quicker. However, when I asked a second time if I could get my coffee, the lady behind the counter made it in probably a minute. I was very polite both times. The atmosphere, building, and outside seating areas are quite welcoming and provide a nice area for chatting. Fix the speed of service and make better coffee drinks, and it'll be top notch.

Service was really disappointing. I didn’t feel acknowledged and it took a long time to get any help. I had to try multiple times before someone responded. Overall, not a good experience and I wouldn’t suggest coming here.

Terrible service. I ordered food and was ignored when I tried to get help. I had to call repeatedly to get a response. Communication was poor and the overall experience was frustrating. I would not recommend this place.

Honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food was poorly executed and lacked flavor and quality.

The staff seemed unorganized and uninterested in providing proper service. Everything took longer than it should have.

Overall, the experience did not justify the prices at all. I would not return or recommend this place.

A very disappointing experience overall. The food quality was below average and felt rushed and careless.

The service was unprofessional, inattentive, and slow despite the restaurant not being busy.

Definitely not worth the money. There are far better options available nearby.
