Cannot say enough good things about this shop! Not only are the roasts perfect and the food amazing, the staff are so kind and hospitable. Shoutout to Natalie who gave me super friendly and efficient service! Wouldn't go anywhere else in Morgantown!

I stopped in a few days ago as I'm trying to avoid the big box coffee companies and support local businesses. I got an iced latte, asked for fat free milk and the shop didnt have any. The options are oat milk, whole milk or macadamia milk, none of which I drink. I opted for oat milk and asked for extra ice to help cut back on the amount of oat milk that was used. The lady who helped me was very polite and apologized for not having fat free milk. I didnt watch the other girl who made the drink but had seen her making other drinks and she poured the milk in before the ice on all other drinks. Not sure if that was the case with mine but I dont feel like thats a good way to get extra ice in and less milk. Either way, there were not many options, no sugar free flavorings either. Ultimately, I feel like I paid $6 for an iced oat milk. Couldn't even taste the espresso. I'm sure other drinks and the food is good as they are busy but isn't a good option for me.

Loved it here! Was traveling from out of state and passed it and stopped. I had a great latte and the caprese sandwhich tasted so fresh! Would definitely recommend!

Came here for my birthday trip breakfast and it was so good. I had a maple latte it was absolutely perfect. The sandwich was great and very fresh and the fruit salad had all crunchy grapes 5 stars for that alone 😆 all the staff here was so sweet thank you guys 🫶🏻

This is an expert coffeeshop.
The cappuccino was done with perfection and had a nice smooth flavor without any bitterness.
I typically don't enjoy cappuccinos, but I tried my sister's cappuccino, and it was incredible.
I personally had a plain iced latte,
And my parents had a plain Hot Latte
And we were extremely happy with our drinks!

Excellent house brewed drinks but man, the sandwiches are excellent. They get served as hot and fresh as could be. The style of the shop is also very modern and chic. Loved this spot.

I just LOVE Mountaineer Roasting, Morgantown's best coffee shop! I don't just come here when I need to clean my house, when I need to work late, when it's cloudy, when I'm sleepy, when I need a boost... I come here for community!

I don’t believe I have had a better cappuccino anywhere. The lattes are amazing as well - I get it with an extra shot of espresso and it’s then a stairway to heaven. The food is good too - but, when there’s good coffee, who needs food?
