Coffee is always old and burnt. Walked in and asked the female employee how old the brewed coffee was and she replied with “not that old” about 2 hours ago. I don’t know how that is acceptable. At least Starbucks knows to change it every half hour.Update: Asked for a pour over as the Owner responded to my review by saying they make coffee for you on the spot. Male employee argued that they do not put any kinds of steamed milks in the pour overs and charged me additional $2 dollars for a steamer along with the $4 dollars I already paid for the coffee. I had to pour my own milk in which by that point was not frothy at all. So still unable to get a fresh coffee unless I want it black?? Pour over was awful did not measure the coffee correctly.

I have become a big fan of their coffee. Its a great treat for me as I live within 10 minutes of Mountaineer Roasting Co so I can quickly duck out for a coffee or grab one on my way back from the grocery store.Everything is made fresh and to order so that means as soon as you open the door you're greeted with the wonderful aroma of freshly made coffee. Coffee is served up quick too! My wife loves the Americano and I just keep trying different things on the menu and loving them all.

I'm a fan of Mountaineer Roasting. Coffee tastes great and you get the benefit of supporting a local business compared to the big chain just up the hill.

Delicious coffee, delicious food (I got the chia pudding with blueberries, almond butter, and cacao nibs), and friendly staff! They have an outdoor seating area that gets great sunshine in the mid-morningParking: There's a free lot outside the store, but it usually only has a few spots available.

Coffee here is divine! I've purchased a few of their whole bean coffees before as gifts for others and it's always a hit - I love coming in for a morning latte and being greeted by polite staff and quick preparation. Much better than going to the nearby Starbucks - there's always a wait there, so Mountaineer Roasting Co. serves as a much better alternative!

Ordered an avocado toast with a side of bacon. Thick-cut Italian bread was fresh and delicious. Caramel latte was well-foamed and the coffee quality was excellent. Super friendly staff, too.

Went in today to order two pour overs, one with steamed oat milk and one black. I was told by the only male employee working at the register that it would be impossible to get a pour over with steamed oat milk due to the system not being set up that way. When I asked if he could just charge me extra for the oat milk he said with attitude that he would just do it. When the coffee was done and it was time for the oat milk to be put in, he left no room in the cup for the oat milk and I was forced to ask for the steamed oat milk on the side due to this (just a little bit was given in a cortado cup). Despite having this experience I said “thank you very much” pleasantly and was still responded to with an annoyed “yup”. I wanted to try the food, but after the initial interaction I didn’t even bother. There are SO many better coffee places than this and honestly a refund would be ideal. Coffee was also underwhelming, outside of the bizarrely bad service.

We have traveled all over the country and hands down this place has one of the best lattes and Americanos. Simply delicious! They are consistent and always worth the stop.

I am obsessed with finding good coffee nationwide. It was my first time here after an appointment where I couldn't have my morning coffee or breakfast. Wow, they service was fast and friendly. I told them it was my first time, and they were highly attentive. I had the breakfast sandwich and added avocado - delicious!! I also tried the coffee black and saw sold, just added a stevia. The ambiance is perfectly quaint with good music. The price was spot on for the portion and quality. Well done, I'll be back even though I live 45 minutes away.

Good coffee, though the serving size to the price was a tad off but not horrendous. Worth a try. Whole bean bags don't quite say what level of roast they are.
