“I want to thank Rachel at The Dish Cafe in Daniels, WV. We gathered here with family and were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend. If you haven’t eaten here you should give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Rachel was great from beginning to end. She changed our seating twice so that we were all comfortable. “When we are in WV we have to eat at Tudors. We finally have one now in Lexington and I'm hoping they will eventually come even closer to where we live in London, KY. The food is awesome and definitely worth your money.“

“Stopped in for dinner and ended up having spooktacularly good wings. Generous pours of Jack too. And the band for the night was Stalnaker Hill who killed with home-grown WV folk and bluegrass. What an awesome evening. Next time I’m around I will come back!!“

“I've been dining at the Gables since 1975. Larry and Sue Navicki have always been the greatest hosts and good friends to all of their customers. In all the years I have dined there I have never had a meal that was less than superb. It is 5 stars every time. I live out of state now but rest assured every trip back to the area includes at least one fine meal there.The Navicki family is one of the finest families I have ever known.It is no wonder why the meals are so great....they are a great family.“

“Our 2nd Grade booked a trip to Pinheads. This was one of the best field trips! Once we got the kids started bowling, they knew what to do and had a blast. They loved the music and lights! We ordered quite a few pizzas and they helped us corral the kids, get hands washed, and seated to eat. It went so well and so smoothly. Thank you Pinheads for a great experience.“

“My Family and I we're heading home to New York from North Carolina from a family emergency.. we stopped to grab some lunch, Charlie our Waiter was excellent and the food was amazing. I was an hour and a half when I realized I forgot my wallet in the restaurant, I called and asked and yes it was there... I asked if they could mail it back to me and thinking they would just snail mail it to me, however they overnighted it to me and for that I will be forever grateful ❤️“

“We needed a break on our long drive through West Virginia and decided to explore the new Tamarack facility, it is fantastic! We're not really sure how to describe it-- the old place, which has been razed-- was a more traditional rest stop/truck stop with an interesting "gift store" of West Virginia products. This new Tamarack is truly a marketplace of West Virginia arts, crafts and other products. There is everything from West Virginia themed T-shirts to food products to local craftwork to Greenbrier branded items to quilts and ceramics to Homer Laughlin Fiestaware in all the latest colors. We might have spent hours exploring all the West Virginia products! There is also a food court, tables and chairs for relaxing, and adequately sized, clean restrooms.
What we discovered that will make this a must-stop location is a large parking lot for busses and RVs, easy entry and exit.
The old location is being rebuilt as a modern refueling station for travelers and truckers and that will make this a destination for all!
Next time through West Virginia we will set aside more time for a visit to Tamarack Marketplace and that will certainly make the long trip traversing the Mountain State very enjoyable!“

“Greeted as soon as we walked in. The server was very nice and explained all the options we asked about. She brought out a basket of warm rolls before dinner and another with our dinner. We were all pleased with the food and service as this was my parents' 62nd anniversary it was a nice dinner for them.“

“The receipt shows that I ordered my food to eat inside the restaurant at 12:26. I received my food at 12:50. That’s 24 minutes. When the server put my tray on the table I asked her if anyone at the drive thru had waited that long for their food. A manager came over (Amelia) and explained that a cook had failed to drop some chicken and that’s why my order was so delayed. In fact she went out of her way to apologize and even brought me a fresh meal on my way out the door. I went from leaving a negative review to leaving a positive review. Everyone makes mistakes. Own it, apologize and move forward. Now, I feel I need to put these restaurants on notice. They prioritize the drive thru and the dine in traffic suffers. Stop doing this, please. My dollar spends elsewhere as well.“

“Our first experience at a Bon Evans. It was great. The food was good, plentiful, and very quick. We had multiple servers and all were efficient and friendly.
I had Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with hashbrowns and a biscuit and gravy. It was great, and my husband had some big platter with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and French toast. He ate it all and said it was good. Will definitely eat here now and then!“

“We had a really big group for a birthday party. They did not miss a beat. Service was very fast and friendly and food was phenomenal. I was highly impressed with the staff they were busy and still made this day special.

“Overall, a great location. However, if I’m sweating and trying to manage a runny nose, it’s not because I’m sick; it’s because I’m a wuss who can’t handle the spicy wings I ordered. More water, please! Timely drink refills can be hit or miss, but the actual food and service are consistently good. (I tip double or more whenever refills aren't an issue) Depending on the day, tickets can stack up, causing long wait times, so don’t come here if you’re in a rush.“
